INTRODUCTION
Management is one of the highly important as well as significant part in each and every
activity which is undertaken by the company or manager. The present study is talking about
managing project which helps to the firm in order to meet with agreed aims and purposes in
proper direction. Further, the procedure of planning, implementing, executing, monitoring,
controlling as well as reviewing of the specific task is considered as the project management. It
includes wide range of tools and techniques which are such as the Gantt chart, critical path, work
breakdown structure, network diagram etc. The present study based on Tesco Plc company
where it describes about those elements and aspects which create negative impact on the project
or success criteria up to the certain or larger extent. Moreover, causes of the project failure are
explained with the current research. Apart from this, critical success factors (CSFs) which are
necessary for effectively completion of every project are described in the present study. At the

recommendations given to the Tesco Plc in the present study for adopting CSF as well as the
considering the project failure causes.
