The project will embark on how globalisation at present is effecting the business environment of
emerging nations. The project perspective will analyse the increasing pace of globalisation that is
influencing many companies to apply better HR practices, so that productivity and profits can be
done in a new foreign country. The retail giant Tesco is chosen here to analyse how it can enter
Taiwan market, so that it can practice better path of recruitment and selection to increase their
retail chains hugely (Too and Weaver, 2014). This project will however analyse the key stages of
Project management with Project plan, including WBS and Gantt chart. Further, a Small-scale
research will also be carried out, so that better findings can be gained from the overall project.

Project Management and it includes
Project management is considered as the planning of company’s resources that may move any
type of specific task during completion. It comprise of four phases, i.e. Initiating, Planning,
Executing and Closing work to attain specific goals to meet success criteria of a project in time.
This includes skills, processes and knowledge to attain project objectives, as per the acceptance
criteria of a project (Carroll, 2012). Some of the core competencies include defining reason to
choose the project or captures project requirements, specifying project timescales, resources and
deliverables.
Stages of Project Management with advantages
There are four stages of Project management, which includes Initiation, Planning, Execution and
Control and Closure. The first stage is considered as project initiation, as it establishes whether
the project is feasible or not. The advantage is that it sets out a justification for the project, on
what the needs of the organisation are or how will it benefit to produce potential financial output.
Project Planning is the next step, which outlines project needs and goals that are created to define
