1.Introduction
Tesco Mini is IT company operates with 10 employees. So Profit and Loss for
previous 12 month has been calculated. A report is made on basis of information given
and on report basis results and findings have been drawn. The purpose of the report is
to identify financial results of store and effect of use of technology on employees have
described. Implementation of quality checkout system, how productivity increases and
to improve the quality of Tesco management.
2. Findings
As far as technological advancement is concerned , it has given the business
now a days an extra edge over the competitors as by the help of hardware and software
tools it is possible for every business to make profit for the business. From the above
task it has been identified that over the year's Tesco has been making profit/loss and the
above data shows that many times profit has been witnessed in comparison to loss.
Talking about the start of the year they were in the loss as new to the technology they
have been taking the knowledge of how the things goes on. Further moving further it
has been identified that In the month of March & April profit figures noted are 4,050
and 11,520 bucks. Also the Tesco shop has witnessed a sudden increase in the profits in
the month of July, August, September and October which is 39,491 , 12,350 , 57,170
and 21,480. Thus this immense increase in the profits is due to the the technological up
gradations and thus it has made the staff of the shop to use the software's and hardware
in a efficient and effective towards the growth and profit of the business further which
this has made the people build the brand image.
3. MS Office benefits in increasing business productivity:
Ms office is tool used not only in business world but also professional,
educational, technological, economic, medical or in every aspect of field which makes
reports, presentation, graph, diagram and calculation (Winston, W., 2016). So it can
help in increase productivity by making reports on daily basis and crosschecking with

expected with resulted outcome. As performance of employees also can be tracked
down. All financial data can be track down and keep recorded in excel sheet of MS
Excel (Weed, J., 2015) MS office business application are combination of MS office
sytem which includes (Outlook, Word, Excel) as user interface for application. It is
available in both desktop and mobile format. Following points included to increase
productivity in Tesco Plc by using MS office:
1. Cost Saving: Almost all business rely on MS Office. So investing in IT with
business strategy help reduce operating cost, evaluate employee performance,

2. Financial Management: MS Office accounting express 2008 offers small startup
or home business a resource of accounting processing and procedure. Software
involves invoices, budgeted, financial templates, and profit and loss statement.
So by using this TESCO PLC, can definitely increase productivity.
3. Security System: For any business upgrading online system and adopting new

profitability. In contrast company releases software updates monthly to fix bug
and smooth functioning of OS and apps, So If Tesco Plc, use and update its
software they can overcome competition and gain on competitive advantage.

purchase and sales department to take effective measures ass soon as possible. There

regard to this is that it is not easily accept by the people. Thus, the advantages of

production.

system that are applied by the industry. Thus, it is mainly includes video
memory standards, sound standards, hardware interfaces, CPU memory
specifications. Therefore, there is fluctuations in technology is that are facing
the issues. It improves the performance of a business in the organisation through

latest through which there is not kind of problem such as booting and registry
problems.
