INTRODUCTION
For the future career of any learner work-based experience plays a vital role as it provides the
practical experience to the learners. It helps in providing the learner familiar with the
workplace. This assignment is about the work based experience in the Tesco PLC group
which is actually a UK based groceries organization which has more than 3739 stores only in
the UK and more than 7,000 stores worldwide. The headquarter of the Tesco group is in the
Hertfordshire in the UK and have almost 500,000 employees. Work-based experience
provides real working situations and in working in such situations developed many skills in
the learners like the problem-solving skill, communication skill, time management and also
many more skills.
