INTRODUCTION
As the businesses have been expanding their workforce composition has been changing
which mean that the workers belonging to different backgrounds, beliefs, religions etc. work
together in an organisation. It is important for companies to establish an environment of diversity
and equality so that their work can help the company in achieving its objectives. Equality help in
giving all the employees equal opportunities which are important for motivating them to work
efficiently (Appleby, 2019). Diversity on the other hand helps in collaborating the work of
diverse employees so that they can use their ideas and skills in achieving company goal in an
efficient manner. In this report Tesco is taken which is a multinational British supermarket which
deals in groceries and general merchandise. The company employs workers belonging to
different backgrounds, religions, cultures, sex, age etc. which means that it is important to
establish equality and diversity in company. In this report a research is conducted which can help
in implementing management policies which will help in improving the working environment of
Tesco so that employees can work together effectively.

It is related with planning the ways in which project will be carried out so that the
objectives can be achieved in an efficient manner. It is important that management policies like
giving feedbacks to employees, increasing inclusion of employees etc. can help in improving the

Project management plan: It is important that an appropriate project management plan is
developed so that the objectives which are to be achieved through the project can be efficiently
achieved (Bendl and et. al., 2015). In this report following are the deliverables which will help
the researcher in effectively completing the project: Scope: Scope of the project help in determining the various results that are intended to be
achieved through the completion of project along with the ways in which the project
objectives can be efficiently achieved. There are various factors which help in achieving
the scope of the project which are goals, deliverables, resources, equipments, deadlines,
tools, techniques etc. The scope of the project also helps in evaluating the cost of the
project against the worth of implementing the management policies in company which
can help in enhancing equality and diversity in company (Hutchinson, Mack and
Verhoeven, 2017).
Cost: The cost of the project must be determined so that an estimation of the total
expenses can be done which can help in formulation of a budget so that all the project
activities can be efficiently completed. Determining cost also help the researcher in
apportioning appropriate amount to each activity of project so that they can all be

project within stipulated time while completing the project activities in a desired manner.
The total time which will be required by the researcher in completing the project
effectively is about 3 months as various activities such as collection of data, application

be faced during the project are wrong sources of data collection, lack of knowledge of
researcher, wrongly interpreting the results of the project etc. Resources: These are the tangible and intangible assets which are required to complete
the project in an efficient manner. The resources which will be required by the researcher
during the project are team members, laptops, office etc. so that they can be utilised in
gaining the desired results through the completion of project (Treanor, 2016).

Gantt Chart: It is described as the bar chart which present the various activities against
time and the length of bar represent the beginning date, duration and finish date of activity. This
chart is first developed by the Henry Gantt that provide the visual scene of task scheduled
overtime. In other words, they are used for planning the short or long projects and also showcase
the work that is done on a specific day. It help the researcher in determining all the problems or
hurdles related to project so that unnecessary process can be eliminated from the project and thus
provides an effectiveness of the project.

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): This method is regarded as the most effective tool
that provide assistance to the researcher in breaking down the project into multiple components

overall productivity in competitive marketplace thus giving it a competitive edge in market. It is
important that equal opportunities are given to all the employees so that they can grow and
