Diversity in the workplace brings multiple opportunity in the businesses through which
they can get success in their business sector. From past few years most of the companies
investing high funds to retain diversity in the workplace so that they can get fringe of benefits on
their business’s operation (Ausserer, Kaufmann and Risser, 2016). Generally, management plays
effective role in managing equality and diversity in the workplace because managers implement
such policies i.e. fairness in decision-making process, promotional policies etc. which builds
trustworthy relationship between employer and employees. However, most of the companies
have failed to maintain diversity in the workplace due to crisis i.e. communication barrier,
inequality, pay structure etc. as resulted unable to gain positive impact from this initiative. In this
research project will cover all such factors which demonstrates issues of equality and diversity in
the workplace. There are various innovative data collection methods will use for finding different
data which will be included in this report. This research topic is essential to be discussed and
evaluated, because this can support companies for deeply understanding the actual value of
equality and diversity and fair policies in the workplace. Lots of efforts requires to complete this
research assignment successfully.
Background: Tesco plc is a British Multinational and merchandise retailer company which is
headquartered in UK and offers it’s product and services across the world. It has established
strong global presence in it’s sector. This report will include aims and objectives of the research

research project satisfactorily. On the other side, budget which the business develops in the terms
of implementing various findings of research project. Existing research project has required over
£2200 for covering various activities under research. Additional £39000 has required for
employing changes within Tesco.

supports to increase potential of the company. There are two type research such as
qualitative and quantitative that helps to collect data related to research topic and increase
efficiency of the business to maintain quality while collecting data about research topic in
efficient manner. While quantitative method is used is the scientific procedure that uses
to gather information in numerical figure. In this research will use qualitative method
because it will support to maintain quality while collecting data Which is highly
