INTRODUCTION
Management theory can be explained as the set of ideas and general rules and regulation
that helps the manager to manage day to day activity in an organization (Dean and Bowen,
2016). This report will be prepared on Tesla Inc. which is one of those company who
manufacture electric cars. In this file the discussion will be on the point that how SWOT is being
used in the company. The discussion will also turn towards Corporate Social Responsibility. In
the end, this report will contain that how Brexit will affect the organization.
MAIN BODY
SWOT analysis on Tesla with point out one major issue.
SWOT is defined as the tool which is used to calculate the internal structure of an
organization. Here, S stands for Strength, W for weaknesses, O position for Opportunity and T
tells about threads in an organization. In context of Tesla, SWOT can play very crucial role it
will help to detect that what can be done in future to enhance their overall performance.
Strength: It will help Tesla to grow and improve their overall performance in the future.
The major strength of Tesla is that they have strong control in their production process which
have helped them to grow strong brand in the market.
Weaknesses: SWOT is one of those method which helps to detect the problem through
which performance can be enhanced (Petronio, 2017). The major weakness of Tesla is that the
price of their vehicle is too high with limited supply chain.
Opportunity: The main focus in this aspect is to find that how opportunity can be
created for improving the business performance. In context of Tesla, the main opportunity for
them is to expand their business global level just because there are very less number of
competitor for them at present.
Threads: It is the area which tells the issues which can be faced by the company in
future. In terms of Tesla, the major threads for them is that the competition is increasing very
aggressive at the moment with fluctuation in material prices. It is one of the major key issue
which is be faced by Tesla and they need to work hard on this matter.
How Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can help Tesla and even society & future generation
Tesla is one of those company whose main focus is to manufacture those electric vehicles
which can be very useful in and effective for the society. The company’s main is to focus on

Corporate Social Responsibility as the fall under that category. IN CSR policies their main focus
is one to conduct those social work through which maximum benefits can be provided to their
customer and communities. It is necessary for the company like Tesla that they complete their
reasonability regarding CSR. The main focus at the time of conducting CSR activity is that they
try to distribute their car at low cost to young generation so that that their concept can be
changed that Tesla just don’t look for earning profit (Petronio., 2016).
It is important that how they think regarding their policies towards Corporate Social
Responsibility but still they need to work hard. Because in CSR their main focus should be that
how they work for youths and society through which their stakeholders can be benefitted in
future. Even company can introduce some of the new ideas regarding in which they can
distribute cars to those old aged people who cannot afford in future also but want to do
something new from their skill and knowledge. This will be benefitted in terms of providing
facilities to old age people.
How do you think that Brexit will impact on Tesla?
Brexit is the treaty where United Kingdom had decided to withdrawal its agreement with
European Union Law. It was one of those decision which have change the overview of market
(What is Brexit, 2018). It was one of those decision through which stock market had been
crashed in a second. In context of Tesla, the Brexit was one of those major decision taken by UK
in which many of the companies need to increase their price. It had shown the positive impact
from Tesla’s point of view because to meet up the amount of profit they had increased their price
by around 15%. But at current scenario Brexit have started to show it negative effect because
people are unable to spend such a huge amount to purchase a car. It can be said easily that Tesla
was not only the single company who have raised the money because other had done too. At
current scenario, it is being said that Tesla need to come up with some new ideas and plans
through which goals can be achieved but ideas and thoughts should be prepared in the basis of
Brexit.
Recommendation for Tesla that how they can take competitive advantage in the market?
Here, it can be suggested to Tesla that they need to bring out some new innovative ideas
through which organizational goals can be achieved. Even it is compulsory that how the execute
their plans. In current scenario, the company is facing the issue regarding Brexit but main point
is they should not be panic because one stock market will recover their profit earning will

automatically increase (Radnor, Osborne. and Glennon, 2016). Even company need to improve
their marketing strategy through which can increase their number of customer in future. The
main reason for not growing in the current market rapidly is that they do not have diversified
supply chain. It is necessary for Tesla to diversify the supply chain to reduce supply side risks.
CONCLUSION
It can be easily concluded from the about report that SWOT is one of those area through
which detail information can be collected regarding any organization. Tesla need to focus on
their marketing strategy so that they can maximize their profit. Also, Brexit is one of those issue
raised in UK which have created lots of issues for multinational companies. At the end, Tesla
doesn’t need to be panic in this situation because every problem has its own solution.
