Tesla.
Section One: Title, objective, responsibilities
Introduction
Motivation of employees is very necessary for growth of the company. If employees are
motivated then they will work with full potential and perform their task effectively.
Motivated employees work harder and contribute to company's goal. Happy workers are
considered as more productive and they are likely to stay in the company for long time.
There are certain employee’s motivation schemes that are being used by organisation to
enhance their morale and productivity (Al Mheiri, Jabeen, and Abdallah, 2021). But the
question arises how to motivate an employee and how to make them feel more valued.

and Saether, 2021). motivation schemes help the employees in achieving their
organisational goals as motivated employee always try to achieve the organisational goals
and personal goals by putting their contribution towards their task if employees are
working focused and in one direction then they will definitely achieve organisational
objectives. In context with Tesla organisation, the mangers of the company are using
motivation schemes to enhance their employee’s performance.
Impact of motivation schemes on employee’s performance in Tesla organisation.
From the views of Olusadum & Anulika, (2020), Every organisation has to retain and their
employees to enhance their productivity and profitability. Employees are being motivated
to perform a job well. if managers create good vision and motivate their employees and
should not neglect their needs and demands so this could satisfy their employees and they
will perform more well in the organisation (Impact of Motivation on Employee
Performance, 2020.). Motivation is concerned with the actions and what action should be
taken to improve the level of performance of workforce. An individual could be motivated
through reward appreciation and incentives except employee’s performance and their
motivation depends on some of the factors such as employee satisfaction performance
appraisal, job security, training and development, organisation structure and compensation
provided to them. motivation of employees is influenced by their performance for getting
the desired outcomes and for that manager of a company should have to conduct
depth knowledge about employee motivational schemes.

Section Five: Research approach and methodologies
What type of research approach and methodologies are you likely to use and why?
What your areas of research will cover:
Research methodology is discussed as a set of action that can be used in research project to
achieve research aims and objectives. It is the most important process or methods which is
being used by investigator to conduct his research in systematic manner. One of the main
objectives of research methodology is that it helps the investigator in conducting research
on time by using appropriate frameworks and models (Fordjour, 2021). In This given
research, Research framework is used by investigator which consists of various layers.
These are discussed below:
Research philosophy: Research philosophy is the first layer of research onion. It is a set of
action that is providing advantages and valuable information in achieving research aims
and objectives. It helps the investigator in collecting data and information through various
sources information. it is defined as the set of assumption in research project. research
philosophy consists of two methods positivism and interpretivism. Interpretivism
philosophy is related with the form of acknowledgement in which the development can be
seen within a study. it is like an observation which is seen in a study. and positivism
philosophy is about getting knowledge about a particular topic directly as well as
indirectly. in this particular research positivism philosophy is being used by the
investigator to get knowledge about topic of motivation schemes used in Tesla
organisation.
Research approaches: Research approaches is the next layer of research onion framework
that can be used by investigator in collecting data information through valuable sources. it
can be said that is approaches are very useful for the research project in order to obtain
research aims and objectives in effective manner. there are two approaches which are used
in research these are inductive and deductive research. Inductive research approach is
referred to the observation that is being observed by investigator in achieving research
objective. deductive approach is referred to the hypothesis that can be framed for
implementing available results. In this particular research investigator is making use of
deductive approach in order to collect data and information is systematic manner.
Deductive approach helps them in gaining more knowledge and information about

literature review to collect data and most effective manner. In this questionnaire survey is
being filled by employees of Tesla who are working there for long time. and the literature
review is conducted for getting in-depth knowledge of employee’s motivation scheme.
These strategies provide true results and by this researcher will be able to achieve their
aims and objectives in most systematic manner.
Data collection : Data collection method is the method which consists of two types. These
methods of research enhance the investigator in creating and developing knowledge about
a particular topic. in this research these both methods are primary method and secondary
method are used. Primary method is a method in which there is a use of numerical data,
graphs and tables to collect reliable results. Secondary data is the data which makes use of
theoretical knowledge that is through books and journals or libraries. this given research
both of these methods are being used by investigator to collect appropriate knowledge
about employee’s motivational scheme used in Tesla. Primary method is use by
questionnaire survey and tables and that is being filled by employees of Tesla. By this data
interpretation is being made by researcher. Secondary method is used to get in depth
knowledge about a topic and there is a use of literature review which is made through
writings of different authors. Secondary method is less costly as compared to primary
method so it helps the investigator in saving his money as well (Jagani, and et.al., 2020).
On the other hand, Primary methods brings true information as compared to secondary
method.
Sampling : Sampling is another method which is used by investigator to select a sample in
order to create reliable information. sampling is a method of selecting some of the samples
from large number of populations. in this given research, the population is whole staff of
Tesla and the samples are being selected are some of the employees of Tesla company.
there are two types of sampling methods these are probabilistic method and non-
probabilistic sampling method. In this particular research, the sampling method which is
being used by investigator in order to get data and information is non probabilistic
sampling. Also, there is a use of random sampling method at the time of selecting a sample
because this gives equal chance to every sample and there could not be any biasness
between employees and their results. the size of selecting sampling is 45 respondents who
are the employees of Tesla. researcher is preparing questionnaire survey. it is being
fulfilled by those employees and then interpretation is made according to the frequency
received from them. this gives true and accurate results to the company and the researcher
Research strategy : Research strategy is the next layer of research onion model after
approaches. it is used by researcher in collecting various data and information to available
sources and through other sources (Ghosh, 2021). it helps them in getting reliable and
accurate data and analysing through results. There are various research strategies that are
being used in research project these are questionnaire survey, interview, observation, case
studies etc. These helps investigator in conducting proper and accurate results and getting
through interpretations. in this particular research there is a use of questionnaire survey and
literature review to collect data and most effective manner. In this questionnaire survey is
being filled by employees of Tesla who are working there for long time. and the literature
review is conducted for getting in-depth knowledge of employee’s motivation scheme.

Research choice: Choice of research developing study in a particular manner. there are two
types of research choices. these are quantitative data and qualitative data. quantitative data
is the data in which there is a use of numerical information and statistics is being used
there. qualitative data analysis is used when is the use of theoretical knowledge to get in
depth knowledge about a particular topic (Kitur, 2021). In this given recent research,
researcher is using both of these methods for collecting and accurate results. Qualitative
data is collected through secondary information that is through literature review and
quantitative data is collected through questionnaire survey which makes use of tables in
frequencies.
