Introduction
Project management is effective in attaining successful result from a undertaken project. The
current business project aims in evaluating the positive economic impact of globalisation on
marketing segment of Tesla. The report includes conducting a effective project by conducting a
small scale research with the support of effective project methodology, strategies and
approaches. Considering the data analysis the report also provide with some recommendation
that can be considered by Tesla which is a automobile organisation that is known for selling,
designing and manufacturing electric vehicles.

P1 Devise project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario
A Project can be defined as inter-related activities performed for a set objective or target in a
fixed period of time and cost considering different constraints. The term Project management can
be referred as business practices including planning, controlling, implementing and finally
finishing on its estimated time (Burke, 2013). An effective project designs project aims along
with some objectives that are considered as base line according to which the overall project
management plan is established.
Project title: To evaluating the positive economic impact of Globalisation on Market segment of
Tesla.
Project aim: The aim of the current project is to analyse positive economic impact of
Globalisation on Market segment of Tesla.
Project objective: To evaluate and understand the undertaken project the project manager has
effectively developed few objectives.
• To understand the impact of Globalization on Tesla.
• To identify the market segmentation of Tesla
• To examine economic effects globalization has on market segmentation of Tesla.
Rationale of the project
The current project will be supportive in understanding the positive economic impact
globalisation has upon market segmentation considering Business of Tesla.

P2 Produce a project management plan that covers aspects of cost, scope, time, quality,
communication, risk and resources
Scope: The project scope is dependent for examining the positive economic impact Globalisation
has upon market segmentation on Tesla. Understanding the global international market will help
Tesla to develop effective marketing strategies considering the market segment in global level
that will support in attaining economic growth of the organisation by enhancing the sale and
revenue by understanding the need and requirement of the customers at global level.
Resources: For effective execution and completion of the current project both tangible and non-
tangible resources are required which will support in enhancing the overall quality of the project
while attaining the project outcomes (Fleming, and Koppelman, 2016). Thus, the project requires
effective implementation of various hardware and software tools. Some of the project resources
are printer, paper, and laptop along with some other additional stuff. To understand business of
Tesla, market segmentations and impact of globalisation on both the research also need some
secondary resources like journals, books and online websites containing related articles. For
collecting primary data researcher uses questionnaire were opinion and views of respondents are
considered. Project management tools like Gantt chart and WBS is also used for effective project
completion in determined timescale.
Structure: For the current project, to support the process of decision making pure project
structure is considered suitable. In this technique, the project manager has the control of the
entire project. And this project structure will make it dependent on successive process for project
completion. The project quality is achieved with the support of effective decisions to minimise
confusion and to overcome issues.
Timescale: For effective project completion, setting up of the time scale for every project
activity is considered very important. Setting up of timescale support is achieving the project
objectives in time for project submission as per decided submission date. Being a project
manager, I effective have focused on establishing proper communication with the team and
stakeholders to make them understand about project aims and objectives, so that the project is
completed as per estimated time and budget (Gray.et al, 2008). Currently, the undertaken project

will require a time period of 6 weeks for performing every project activities for effective project
completion thus the project is executed with the help of a project management plan along with
WBS and Gantt chart.
Communication matrix: A Project cannot be completed without effective support of the project
team. The role and responsibility within the project team was effectually distributed for proper
project completion in its estimated schedule. For this purpose, meeting were conducted that
included involvement of many stakeholders so that project quality is maintained effectively.
Project manager is responsible for distributing role and responsibilities among the teams for
performing their activities for effective project completion (Wysocki, 2011). Proper
communication was established among the stakeholders regarding the methods of data
collection. For collecting data questionnaire was designed and used as a tool of communication
between respondents and project team to achieve project aims and objectives.

Quality: For any project, quality is an important element that must effective considered by the
project manager and the project team while performing every activity related to the project. In
the current project, the project manager has implement effective project management procedure
that strictly followed Total quality management (TQM) and six sigma approaches for
maintaining the project quality (Fleming, and Koppelman, 2016). To eliminate any kind of errors
in data interpretation, the project manager has used pie charts and graph available in MS excel.
Data collection is done by considering reliable sources and any kind of biasness is avoided. For
time project execution the project scheduling is maintained using WBS and Gantt chart.
Risk: For a project manager, identification and manging project is one of the important functions
to be performed for marinating the project quality and standard. In the current project major risk
that has been identified is the project incompletion in its estimated timescale and effective team
members leaving the project (Clayton, 2011). One of risk involved in the project is related to
excessive utilisation of resources and funds. Risk of the research project include biasness in the
responses of the respondents, thus the project manager assigned for the business project is liable
to keep all the risk in mind before project execution along with effective plan for its mitigation.

In the project, the project manager uses WBS for categorising every project activities. For
effective project management, the project manager and team need to manage every small activity
with respect to time and budget. The undertake research business project is conducted with an
objective to meet the project aim. WBS focuses on distributing every project activities
appropriately considering budget and time. Moreover, considering WBS, the project manager
develops the Gantt chart that allows the project team to carry out various project activities
according to the decided schedules supporting in management of performance and quality of the
project. WBS and Gantt Char supports in enhancing the quality of available resource along with
proper distribution for attaining project aim and objectives.
