Introduction
There are various kinds of leadership styles
and approaches which are followed by the
organisation that helps in its management
and also helps in setting company's goals,
vision and objectives which are to be
attained by it. Strategy basically is a plan
of action which is made by the
organisation (Yoon and Han, 2018).

About Tesla
TESLA is an American company dealing in
clean energy and electric vehicle. The
company was founded in the year 2003 It
is headquartered in California. The
products which are manufactured by the
company are: electric cars, solar roof tiles,
etc.

Leadership style followed by TESLA
The leadership style which is followed by
TESLA is Transformational leadership
Theory: In this type of leadership, leader
always try to motivate and inspire its
employees in creation of the positive
changes within an organization . The
company TESLA, uses this theory to
increase the morale of team members, rapid
innovations, etc.

Transformational Change
It is that process which is used by the company
when they want to make or create any
significant changes to the current working
process of the organization
(Ospina&Bermeo, 2021). This way the
company make changes or improve the
performance of the company.

Transformational change in TESLA
Tesla is an American company which deals in electric cars solar
panels and battery energy storage, solar roof tiles and other related
products. The company was founded in 2003 with a purpose to help
the expedite in moving into sustainable transport and energy. The
company has been planning to change its production pace and the
biggest strategic change which the company brought was to produce
5,00,000 deliveries in the two years.

Important challenges faced by the
leadership and what was the outcome
There were many challenges faced by the leadership i.e. by the CEO
of the company Elon Musk was to drive up its production pace.
The biggest challenge for the CEO was to hire the best
manufacturing people in the world so that they can produce the
complex objects of the deliveries. Elon Musk used its
transformational leadership in order to bring the strategic change
and motivated its work force to work at their best capacity.

Organisational leadership theory
Situational Leadership Theory: It is that type
of leadership which is determined after the
strategies or plans are made by the
company. This style is totally dependent
on the strategies so planed by the
organisation to achieve its objectives. This
will also help TESLA as by viewing the
objective and plans to its achievement,
leader decides the style of leadership.

Democratic Leadership: This type of leadership is when the supreme
authorities of the company do not impose their authority on its
subordinates, rather they influence them and engage them
effectively while making any decision or solving any problem
related to the activities of the business (Igbinakhase and Naidoo,
2019). This style will help TESLA in having good relations with
its employees which helps in motivating them and in return this
increases employee productivity and profits of the company.

How leadership style can be improved
Reflection: This is one of the very effective way in which leadership
style can be improved (Wu and et.al., 2020). This will help Leader
of TESLA to make his self assessment in which they will
determine all the skills they require to be more better leader for
their employees.

Conclusion
Business strategies are very useful by any business functioning
globally as it helps in making plans which will benefit the
company globally with increased profits and growth. The
strategies can be made only when there is a n effective and good
leader at the company who is practising such a leadership style that
is suitable for all the employees working. Leadership is the factor
in an organization that helps in the motivation and productivity of
the employees.
