INTRODUCTION
E-marketing is an essential process that is adopted by modern business organisation in
order to market their product and services in market place. Basically, it adopt use of several
digital tools and components that include online marketing, web services and internet. This
report throws light on the case of Tesla which is a car dealership company in UK, they have
introduced new car namely “Tesla Roadster”. Thus, in order to market their product and attract
large number of people in society they have to choose various social platforms to carry out the
process. Apart from this, they have to make decision regarding their target audience on which all
their plans and procedures will be depended upon.

It has been observed that almost everyone is active on social media platforms, thus
modern business organisation can make use of this source in order to establish their image in

use of digital technology. It is the duty of the marketing manager to take appropriate decisions
and choose best possible alternative that will yield them high productivity and profitability level.
As Tesla is introducing new product “Tesla Roadster” thus, they have to make effective plans to
choose most reliable and profitable source of marketing their new product. It is among the well
established car dealership company in UK. This is a major task at initial point as they have to
acquire response from people that whether they are performing well or not. There are number of
social media platforms that can be adopted by the company in order to market their product in
current market place (Boone and Kurtz, 2013). Some are described below:
YouTube Advertising: As it is among the second largest online search engine, thus it
can be adopted by Tesla to enjoy benefits for the same. It is observed that it is visited by
several users thus, it will be beneficial for the company to advertise their product.
Facebook Advertising: It is consider among the most effective social platform which
can be easily adopted by the company. It is also consider cost effective source. This

this social platform.
Twitter Advertising: It has been recorded that it is utilized majorly in recent modern
time, hence Tesla can make use of this platform by posting their advertisement as they
want to attract larger number of people at same time.
Instagram advertising: Instagram is known as most trending social platform that have
high retention ratio of people as compared to Twitter and Facebook (Akar and Topçu,
2011).
From the above discussion it has been observed that there are number of options that can
be evaluated by the company Tesla and examine all the benefits and advantages and than choose
most productive option. After evaluating several social platform marketing manager of Tesla
have chosen Facebook adverting as it is consider most effective option due to several advantages
that are discussed below:
As Facebook is consider among the most usable and effective method that can be utilized
by Tesla to enjoy their benefits.
It is also consider cost effective method that result in earning of high outcomes and gains
(Mazzarol, 2015).
Other advantage that is added in this is that at the same time they can focus large number
of people.

posted on social media platform in order to attract interest of larger number of people.

competitors that are present in the market place and than make rules accordingly.
Modern companies use digital marketing that is an essential platform that is adopted to
advertise with the help of digital channels like social media, mobile applications. Similarly, Tesla
have chosen Facebook to be the most effective source of advertising.

people in order to make products and services in accordance to it. All the plans and procedures
are formulated in according to that. Their chosen target audience is young generation as they are
very fond of new gadgets hence, company have to make all decisions in accordance to it. There
are several modern marketing concepts that are discussed below:
Production concept: This concept is related to production process which is carried out by
the business organisation (Gilmore, 2011). Tesla have to effectively produce their
product in order to accomplish their set targets.
Product Concept: Car is a product of Tesla company, that has be produced with high
quality features and accordance to demands and needs of the people.
Selling Concept: It involve all the selling decisions that are taken in order to sell their
product in to the market place. Tesla have to utilise Facebook platform to promote their
car.
Marketing Concept: This allow Tesla to take decisions related to market their product in
effective and efficient manner. Manager have to take decision regarding effective tools to
market the product.
Consumer concept: Tesla have chosen young generation is to be their targeted customer
and all their focus is on them.
Societal Concept: According to this concept, Tesla have to perform several CSR
activities in order to render some social services to their society.
