The main purpose of this paper is to define and evaluate the current matters in the
political scenario of Texas. The Texas Government has been facing many criticisms in the
recent times because of the immigration policies started by the Trump Government. Texas
shares its borders with Mexico and this is why the tension has been rising all the more. The
policy made by the Donald Trump dictates that the children who do not have the proper
documents regarding their birth and nationality should be separated from their parents.1 The
immigration policy made by the Trump government as the Zero Tolerance Policy would be
strictly implemented on the people who cross the borders without the legal papers. They
should be arrested by the security personnel and be prosecuted firmly indeed. They would be
looked upon as the criminals indeed. This policy has changed the entire scenario of the US
Government indeed.
It affected the political system of the United States and the President ordered that the
children of the illegal immigrants would not be separated from their parents. The President
ordered the immigrants to be held together in the immigration detention facilities that are run
by the Department of Homeland Security. Some days later to the passing of the order by the
President of the United States, the patrolling team of the United States was if the view that
they would not be sending the immigrant people who have come with their children to the
courts for the purpose of prosecution. These people were exempted from the zero tolerance
policy that was started by the President of the United States. This was done due to fact that

the children of the immigrant families cannot be allowed to stay with their parents in the
prison. The practice of separation of the children from their parents have been ceased.2
Instead, the government has ordered the Department of Homeland Securities to look for new
means of supporting the immigrant families by means of providing shelter to them and
discontinuing the practice ofdetention for a period of twenty days.
The separation of around 2500 children from their parents has raised a hue and cry
within the country. The report of separating around 700 children from their parents between
the months of April and October has raised a huge protest within and outside the country as
well. The total political scenario has been disrupted as well.3 The security personnel have
later reported that the people who belong to the families should be left outside this zero
tolerance policy. The officials are of the opinion that this zero tolerance policy can be stopped
temporarily but eventually it had to be put into practice indeed. The law says that any child
cannot be detained more than 20 days and this is why the government is looking for some
ways to deal with this issue. The executive order of the President will search on for more
ways to hold back the families more than 20 days. The separated children would finally be
reunited with their parents very soon as the President has said.
When students from different countries or regions comes to study in a university or
college, there is an intermingling of different cultures which is known as “multiculturalism”.
On the first visit to a new place, it is not possible for any people to mix with the different

cultures or to adopt to the culture of the place. I think that it will take a long time for any
person to adopt a culture and pass it as their own. It is true that taking a culture and changing
it completely to form a culture is very humiliating for the person who possess and has
adapted the culture. I think in this way the original culture will really lose the significance of
it. The clothes and other accessories that are imported from another country are the part of the
culture of that particular country which is completely destroyed when it is passed as the
culture of the country importing them. I think that culture appropriateness has been adopted
and the original culture I being destroyed by the students of the United States, but can be
maintained while respecting the significance of it.
