creative and innovative strategies or plans so that they attract more and more customer and be
competitive in the potential market (Owen and Taylor, 2020). There are several factors which
need to be considered by company management such as customer preference, economy, buying
power, competitors and so on. It is so because that will help them in be competitive as well as be
successful in the potential marketplace. However, with changes in nature of customers, diffusion
of cultures, technological changes, and demographic profiles of customers change, the influence
of some of these factors may be waning and become less significance. The research investigates
the contemporary determining factors which contribute to the success of the hospitality business.
The research is focused on The Intercontinental London (The O2). It operates in the hospitality
and they offer a wide variety of luxury hotel services.

To determine the contemporary factors that contribute to the success of hospitality businesses
with the goal of identifying the challenges hospitality businesses face and isolating the key
success factors and business models used by The O2.
