The term “autism” is referred to a type of developmental disorder which can be seen
among the children (Wings, 2013). This type of disorder among the children is characterised
by the children facing a lot of difficulties in their speech and them having problems in their
social interactions. Another problem which the children will face in such a case will involve
the problem of suffering from repetitive as well as restrictive behaviour in their lives. This
type of disorder said to affect a large number of children in the world every year. Thus, it is
said to be one of the most serious problems that the human beings have to face in their lives.
This essay will deal with the various issues which informs the readers about the various
causes of autism in the children themselves.
The purpose of this essay is to evaluate two theories for the causes of autism in
the children.
For the better understanding of the disorder that is better known as autism, it should
first be clear to the readers about the various reasons which can lead to the problem of autism
among the children themselves. The experts who have been studying the problems of autism
has stated various theories which can lead to the causes of autism in the children themselves.
There are a number of theories which mention the various causes which can cause autism
among the children themselves. In this essay, the readers will discuss two such theories which
were mentioned by the experts for the causes of autism among the children (Wings, 2013).
Autism is said to be caused by a number of factors among the individuals themselves.
There are a number of reasons which is said to cause autism in the human beings. Two of
them are as follows:

genetics. It is being said that genetics is one of the important reasons for the causes of autism
in the people. According to the theory, most of the children fall prey to the problem of autism

problems of autism in them, then it can be said that the children of the family will suffer from
autism. However, the recent therefore, it can be stated that the peer or the peer rejection
among the individuals can influence the children and their social as well as their emotional
development at all-times, which can be the cause for problems in their lives as they grow up.
That is why, it is being said that the children must be peer accepted in order for them to grow
up and have a healthy life. What this means is the fact that the children must not be allowed
feel that they are not accepted in the family. If the children are well accepted into the family,
they will be able to grow up in a healthier manner. (Hamilton, 2017).

that it is the father’s sperm or that of the mother’s egg which contributes to the development

reasons which is causing the problem of autism in the bodies of the children themselves.
Hence, these forms the common reasons which can lead to the cause of the autism in the
children (Wings, 2013). Some of the other reasons why the children suffer from the problem
of genetics include the mutations activating the MEC 2 gene, leading to the development
of the autism disorder among the girls themselves. These genes mutate into the body of the
children ultimately leading to the problems of the autism in the bodies of the children.
Genetics is indeed considered to be one of the bigger problems that might lead to the
cause of the autism in the children because of the mutations of all these different genes in the
body of the children in the first three years of their lives leads to the formation of the
problems of autism in the children themselves (Hamilton, 2012). As a result, the children find

themselves unable to speak properly or even indulge themselves in activities such as
repetitive behaviour in themselves. Several treatment methods had been introduced by the
experts so that the problem can at least be reduced by various methods by the doctors who
treat the autism problems of the children themselves. Thus, this forms one of the main
reasons for the causes of the autism in the children as well as the people who suffer from the
problem of autism amongst themselves. Autism can occur among the individuals if the
problem exists priorly among the other members of the family itself. This can affect the kids
and other members of the family as a hereditary problem itself.
The second theory for the cause of autism among the children is considered to be the
cause of the parental age itself. Scientists and the experts have stated the fact that there is an
important link between the parental age and the causes of autism among the children. This is
evidenced by the fact that the latest fact that the parents who are more than 50 years of age
have a greater chance of having their children suffer from the problems of autism as
compared to the parents who are around 26 – 29 years old (Wings, 2013) This is because the
scientific tests conducted by the experts prove the point that the older women bear the risk of
having children with autism more than that of the ones with the younger age parents. This is
because of the fact that the younger people are at a much safer position to give birth as
compared to the older people. The older people, being aged, often is at risks from a number
of diseases which makes them more vulnerable to the giving birth of the child who is
considered to be autistic than the parents or the other members of the family itself. There are
several reasons for this purpose. These reasons are because of the fact that the older women
and men are more susceptible to various kinds of diseases in the human body as compared to
the parents who are young because of the facts of age (Thomas et.all, 2013). Therefore, it can
be stated that the peer or the peer rejection among the individuals can influence the children
and their social as well as their emotional development at all-times, which can be the cause

for problems in their lives as they grow up. That is why, it is being said that the children must
be peer accepted in order for them to grow up and have a healthy life. It is being said that the
flawed brain development among the individuals can often end up causing autism in them.
This can be seen in the case of the children who suffer negligence and rejection at their
homes. It is suggested by the experts that the children who are neglected by their parents have
more chances of developing autism during their childhood. This is because of the fact that the
damaged brain among the individuals can lead to the cause of autism in them and thus affect
the normal functioning of the brain. All these reasons can be the cause of autism among the
human beings themselves. Individuals who suffer from the situations of flawed brain
development in their childhood also suffer from the problems of autism.
Thus, from the above argued points, it can be stated that the subject matter of the
autism in the individuals is because of age of the parents as well as the genetic causes among
the Bible which consisted of the various ways in which the children can be protected from
that of the attacks of autism on the children (Thomas et.all, 2016). Is this seriously one of the
big causes of the problems of autism among the children who were born from parents who
are older.
Fromm the above points discussion, it can be stated that autism, which is a medical

at all-times, which can be the cause for problems in their lives as they grow up and face

inherent or learned by the individuals. Some experts are of the opinion that the some of the
gender differences can be linked on sexuality (Wing, 2013). The main cause for this is the
fact that the issues of autism not only develops in the males themselves but also can develop
themselves in the females themselves.
Thus, from the above discussions, it can be concluded that autism is an extremely
serious issue and must be taken seriously. Steps must be taken to make sure that the children
remain free and safe from the problems of autism. Steps should by the experts to analyse as
well as find a solution to the problem of autism son that the people in the world. Thus, it can
truly ne said that the autism is one of the serious issues faced by a child in his life.
