INTRODUCTION
This study will highlight, strong understanding on the social class. Further this study
examines key theories and structure. Social class is classified into various different dimensions
which mainly includes income, wealth, power, occupation, education, race and ethnicity.
MAIN BODY
Gender is defined as the socially build characteristics of men and women. They formed
various different norms and behaviour in the society. There are different roles and culture which
are appropriate for both men and women. John Money, a Sexologist introduced the term gender.
Understanding about the social world is crucial because it helps in evaluating and making
strong understanding on the social class (Parkin, 2018). The social world is full of different
culture, varied human behaviour, beliefs, attitude, education and environment which results in
building strategic decision and gaining in- depth insight of the various social class (Rothman,
2015). Sociology is an effective way which helps in solving various social problems. Sociology
helps in better understanding of the varied different culture people and environment for effective
functioning of the organization.
Social class is a division of society which is based on economic and social status. Social
class is further classified into upper class (Elite), middle class, working class and lower class.
Social class are group of individuals who possess same economic and social status within a
society (Dubois, Rucker and Galinsky, 2015). Social class is clarified into various different
dimensions which mainly includes income, wealth, power, occupation, education, race and
ethnicity.
Upper class people in social class are people who has high social status and belongs to
elite class. They are the wealthy member of the society and has strong political power. They
focus on living a lavish lifestyle by spending large amount of money on top luxury goods
(Marsh, 2018). These people mainly comprises architects, managers in private company and
public company, university faculty, engineers, lawyers, accountants, capitalist elite class like
owners of lands, assets, bonds and shares, etc. Middle class is another group of social class
where people who belong to this group has high standard of living, have less financial condition
and prestige than upper class (Willis, 2017). They have good education from top most university
and can afford various things in order to reach the common goals and objectives in an efficient
and accurate manner (Savage, 2015). These people mainly comprises blue collar workers, bank

tellers, clerical administration work, professional and skilled staff in organisation, employees
engaged in record keeping and data collection, etc.
Working class are a group of individuals who are working and employer in the
organization for wages. They are the people who work for wages to meet their basic needs to
survive in the society (Rothman, 2015). These people mainly comprises craft workers, nursing
home staff, delivery services, labours, repair shops, garages, restaurant workers, etc. Lower class
comes below working class who just focus on fulfilling their basic needs in order to survive in
the society (Grusky, 2018). These people mainly comprises people who are below poverty line
and are getting lower wages to survive in this society.
Gender schema theory helps in determining how individual in the society are gendered
and how they are categorized into various different characteristics and culture.
The individual of the society must learn and understand the various social changes
happening in the economy (Cole, 2017). It must focus on critically understanding the society,
economic and social class which helps in social and economic development for the future. It
helps in developing new growth opportunities for the individual in order to grow each social
class and upgrade their status for better standard of living (Savage, 2015). Creating a better
understanding of the social world helps in building effective growth opportunities and make
better experience and economic development (Understanding Our Social World, 2019).
Understanding social world helps in resolving various social problems such as crime, theft,
terrorism, public health, improper education, public schools and university, economic issues,
social stratification work and occupation, social inequality, abortion, racism, corruption, social
structure, gender inequality, drugs, age and life course, poverty which largely influence the
growth of the social world (Dubois, Rucker and Galinsky, 2015). Sociology helps in resolving
various social problems in order to resolve various social crisis and helps in better standard of
living and rise in standards of the people to move up in the hierarchy of social class (Grusky,
2018).
Social world model helps in shaping the community and world which helps in more
educated and knowledgable citizenship and standard of living in the world (Parkin, 2018). The
social world model consists of local organization and community, national level organization,
institution and ethical subculture, society and global community (Willis, 2017). Social world
model helps in demonstrating an effective relationship between individuals, institutions,

subculture, society and global culture. There are various social institutions which helps in
developing the functioning of the society by solving structural conflicts (Rothman, 2015). They
focus on effectively meet various needs and requirements of the society by organizing various
social activities (Dubois, Rucker and Galinsky, 2015). They effectively provide essential basis
needs such as food, shelter education and standard of living in order to move up in hierarchy of
social class.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it has been concluded that, social world is full of different culture,
varied human behaviour, beliefs, attitude, education and environment. Social class is a division
of society which is based on economic and social status. Social class is further classified into
upper class (Elite), middle class, working class and lower class. Furthermore, Social world
model helps in shaping the community and world which helps in more educated and
knowledgable citizenship and standard of living in the world.
