Introduction
The ability of a nurse to become reflective is the key skill that helps the nurse to create
positive impact regarding the care service on the patients on a regular basis (Bulman & Schutz,
2013). Through the process of reflection, the nursing professionals could increase their
knowledge regarding the experience and promote their deep learning. It is the method of identify
the strengths and weakness if individual in order to improve their skill (Redmond, 2017). The
process also helps to gather new knowledge about the nursing practice. Thus, it is important for
the nursing professionals to include reflection in their practice in order to learn from their
mistakes and develop their skills in an effective manner. Using my ability to reflect on nursing
practice, I will reflect on one of my experience regarding therapeutic relationship in nursing
practice, through the help of Gibb’s cycle of reflection in the following paper.
