INTRODUCTION
Management strategy can be defined set of activities which are performed by the
organisation in order to manage the functions and operations in a productive way. Under the
current report the chosen organisation is Thermax. This report includes discussion about
PEST analysis application of porter's analysis and various success factors related to
organisation.
MAIN BODY
PEST analysis
This PEST analysis is based on industry in which THERMAX is operating. this
include identification of external environment factors.
Political factor: Political factors are those which are related to political stability
within the environment where the organisation is trading. Context of industry in which
THERMAX operating it is operating within the environment of UK where there is political
certainty and stability. This helps organisation in improving its functions as well as using the
resources in an appropriate way within the country.
Economic factor: There are number of economic factor which impact on the
performance of industry in which THERMAX within UK. Better GDP growth continuous
employment and high level of income is a factor which impact positively on THERMAX
performance. Please help organisation in using innovative ideas in order to improve its
functions within UK Asia and various other prime markets (Voltan and De Fuentes, 2016).
Social factor: Social factors are those which are related to current trends within
society which impact on the organisation performance. In context of thermax, organisation is
using various factors which are helpful for the form to be the social challenges and improve
its performance regarding social factors.
Technological facts: Technological factors are those which are related to
development of new technology within the area where the organisation is working. In context
of THERMAX, organisation is using high performance innovation which is helpful for firm
in meeting changes within technological factors and using it as a profitable approach.

Porter's five force model is a model can we define as Framework which is used by
organisation in order to achieve competitive advantage within the market. Competition in
industry is a prime factor in porter's five force model which impact on performance of
thermax. This does not impact on organisation in negative manner because there is low level
of competition within the industry where industry in which THERMAX operating is
threading because of high investment low rate of return. Potential of new entrants is also a
factor which included in porter's five forces model where industry in which THERMAX
operating has lower threat of new entrants because of high investment improper working

which is related to powers of supplier in order to provide raw material to organisation. There
are low number of suppliers who can supply the products and services to organisation which
impact negatively on the performance of and will reduce its bargaining power. Power of
customer is also a factor which included under this function. industry in which THERMAX
operating is providing its products and services to large number of organisation which is
impacting on performance of firm and provide large customer base which factors in
competitive advantage to organisation. There is no availability of substitute within the
industry where industry in which THERMAX operating trading which make it easier for
organisation to reduce the threats of substitute products and increase its profitability (Warner
and Sullivan, 2017).
Survival and success factors for the industry
There are number of sustainability factors which can be used by organisation in order to
improve its function and achieve its objectives. Some of these are discussed below:
Bringing sustainability in working environment of organisation is a major success
factor in current business environment.
Using environment friendly measure is also success factor which can be used by firm
in order to achieve its objectives.
Provide proper training and development to employees and using better infrastructure
can also considered as a success factor for survival of organisation in this industry.
