INTRODUCTION
This report is in concern of case study of Timberwell Constructions which is a company that
develop residential apartments in the Stanwell Council District. The company has 58 male
workers with different professions and trades related to construction. The company wants
to develop its sustainability but it is facing some issues related to economic, social and
environmental which company wants to overcome from the issues. The study will lay
emphasis on the sustainability of the construction company Timberwell. This report will
study the GRI sustainability reporting standards which will address economic sustainability,
environmental sustainability and social sustainability in context to the Timberwell
Construction Company (Meer and West, 2016).

GRI SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING STANDARDS
In 1987, an aspiration goal of the development of sustainability sated out by the World
Commission on Development and Environment for meeting the needs of the present as well
as future generations without compromising (GRI standards, 2017). It enables all the
businesses for reporting publicly on their social, economic and environmental impacts and
proves their contributions in positive or negative towards the goal of development of

201, the economic performance includes the performance of the economy of the company
Timberwell and the standard used on the type, size, geography and sector get reported
which impacts the economy. This also addresses the issue of economic development and
cooperation between the flow of capital and stakeholders (University of Mary Washington,
2019).

The Timberwell Company has focused on the climatic change which plays an important role
in generating functional changes in revenue, operations or expenditure of the company (GRI
standards, 2016). Changing of climate affects the company products as well as its employees
