Introduction
The main purpose of this report is to show the standards of GRI in the company Timberwell
Constructions. Timberwell construction is an infrastructure company which builds several
apartments in the district of Stanwell Council. This report shows the financial implication and
opportunities and other risks which take place in the company because of climate change. This
report also shows the several incidents of corruptions which take place in the company and the
various actions taken by the organization against those corruptions. This report shows the HR
strategy adopted by the organization in order to hire new employees and to increase the retention
rate of the employees.

The main purpose of this report is to show the standards of GRI in the company Timberwell
Constructions. Timberwell construction is an infrastructure company which builds several

Financial implications and other risks and opportunities
Timberwell construction has many development sites in the district of Stanwell. Due to climate
change and hot and dry weather, there will be a risk of bushfires in those areas. Bushfires can
cause several damages to the properties of Timberwell construction. The main cause behind the
bushfire is because of the hot and dry temperature (Head, et. al., 2014). This activity is most
common in Australia because of the high temperature. Due to bushfires, the company can face
several financial crises. In order to overcome such a situation, the company is planning to protect
the areas with the help of bushfires prone.
The company can implement bushfire prone under the proposed LEP amendment. This prone
will take effect in the next several weeks. This bushfire prone can protect the areas of the site
from any kind of bushfire. This will save the company from any kind of financial crisis. Using of
bushfire prone can cost the company approx. $4 million which is a huge amount. Company is
planning to reduce this cost by engaging their firm with another town. This plan will cost the
company approx. $50,000 which a quite less as compared to the cost of implementing the
bushfire-prone (Sharples, et. al., 2016).
This will provide various opportunities to the firm like they can expand their business more in
other towns, this will enhance the productivity of the organization, the company will not have to

There was an incident of corruption which take place in the company in which five employees of
the organization and the two external business partners of the company gave bribes to the
officers of council projects (Hanapiyah, et. al., 2016). These people gave bribes to the officers in
order to pass the approval of company development application in the council process. This was
the big incident of the corruption which took place in the company. Dennis who is a former
employee of the company has charged this complaint to the state corruption commission in order
to reveal this scandal. After the investigation, all five employees and the other two business
partners off the company founded guilty (Mark Rosenbaum, et. al., 2013). As a result, legal
