Time management is simply the way a particular person plan to undertake various
activities within a certain time framework. Consequently, a well planned time management helps
one to carry the intended work on a smart basis to avoid last munite rush (Duma & Aringhieri,
2018). This essay is meant to discuss ways and tips that will ensure one create well time
management profile for completing a particular task in time.

I. What to do
For one to improve their time management especially in school, one has to list all the
activities they intended to do through creating a well structured time table (Jakimow, Griffiths,
van der Linden, & Hostert, 2018). Notably, this will ensure one avoids last minute rash
especially if one is overloarded with many task having tight deadlines. For instance, a student
will have to create time table in school to ensure he or she does the assignment on time and do
their revision before final exams.

II. Be flexible and realistic
Ideally, one is allowed to spend about 8-10 hours either working, studying, or socializing
with people. A dedicated student in university or college are required to spend closeto 35 hours
on weekly basis on school activities (Kerpez, Ginis, Goldburg, & Tehrani, 2018). For example, a
student is assumed to uses about 15 hours a week on attending lectures session; and the
remaining 20 hourrs is supposed to be utilized on studying. This is mainly done to help in the

understanding a particular module may take a long time than they may thought, thus more time is
needed for clarity.

III. Avoid procrastination
Procrastination is the process where a student in school tends to avoid doing a specific
task on given time and end up having the last minute rush trying to deliver the same. This is
often the case for those students who do not take their time doing their assignmsnts on time and
instead choose to push it on another date. Notably, this is because the tend to prioritize on other
activities rather than school work (Kerpez, Ginis, Goldburg, & Tehrani, 2018). For one to avoid
procrastinating one has to ensure that if a task is given and is scheduled to be delivered in a week
time, a good student can take about a two and three days to get the work done instead of waiting
until the last day to do the task which will lead to pilling of work.

Time management is usually attained by balancing and ensures there is moderation of
activities. In case a particular student designed a well structured timetable, there is a likelihood
of finishing his or her assignments on time (Xiong, Cao, & Yu, 2018). Though it is usually hard
to adjust in time management system one has to start slowly on practicing time management.
Apparently, this is possible through continuously practicing time managemtn techniques when
handling day to day activities.
