automobile industry and the benefits of the time management technique.
Role of time management in the area of the automotive industry
Time management is a kind of approach of planning which is used to control the
time spent on particular activities for increasing the efficiency and productivity. The use
of time management in automotive industry is growing rapidly and many automobile

effective, enhance productivity and performance (Castaings, Lhomme, Trigui, &

the business activities and production activities in a given time. It is observed that many

In this modern era, the use of information technology and automobiles are
growing very fast which creates the complexity for managing each task on the given
deadline. To solve such problem this industry can adopt time management technique
and they should develop and implement the strategies or plans to manage their times
(Wu, 2008). If they control and manage their every task on a scheduled deadline then
they can enhance the efficiency of their business and they can also enhance the overall
productivity of the business (Van der Meer, Jansen, & Torenbeek, 2010). There are
many other industries which can adopt such kind of approach to use time in a more
effective manner, for example, hospitals, higher education, hotels and many more. With
the help of this technique, this industry can increase overall motivation and
performance of the staff and they can reduce the level of the stress by dividing work
according to their value that will give the best output to the company (Verhoef, Lemon,
Parasuraman, Roggeveen, Tsiros, & Schlesinger, 2009).
