Time management is an essential skill that is required to be possessed by every person in the
professional as well as their personal lives. Time management is all about managing the time in
an effective manner and all the activities that are required to be completed should be bifurcated
in an appropriate manner so that there can be no wastage of time.

In the given article, it has been provided that time management is all about managing the time
effectively and reduce the wastage of time. All the activities must be divided into certain parts of
time and then those activities should be completed within that particular time (Ghiasvand, et. al.,
2017). This article states that the right time should be allocated to each of the activity in an
individual’s life. Time management plays a very important role in a person’s life. The points
which are covered in the time management are effective planning, establishing the goals as well
as objectives, setting the deadlines for the work, the allocation the responsibilities accurately, set
the priorities of the tasks as per their value and spending the right amount of the time on the right
activity having high priorities.
The suggestions given within this article regarding the time management are accurate and
correct. In the effective planning of the time management, there has been suggested to plan the
day in advance and prepare the “To Do” list for the whole day. It is one of the right methods
which can be done in order to identify what is required to be done on the whole day. There has
been given that the important activities must be jotted down correctly, and the high priority work
should be completed on a priority basis. This suggestion made in this article is positive and
helpful in managing time in an accurate manner.
Further, the suggestion made in this article is that the targets should be set by an individual and
those should also be completed as they are realistic as well as achievable in nature. This
suggestion would surely help an individual to be motivated in order to finish all the tasks within
the allocated time period.
There are several suggestions made in this article to the individuals in order to manage their time
effectively. The article states that one should avoid keeping stacks of the flies as the workstation

effectively and in the given period of time as there is no confusion created at the workstation
regarding files and important papers (Kirillov, et. al., 2015).
The other suggestion made in this article is that there must not be a misuse of time. The time
should not be wasted in the loitering as well as gossiping. There must be concentration on the
work and the whole work must be finished at the right time. This is one of the best suggestions
given in the article as it is very important to value the time and manage the time in an appropriate
manner because time is money. Playing games in the office as well as waste the time in the
gossiping cannot give anything productive and it will also waste the time.
The other suggestion made is to be focused while working and spending the right amount of time
on the right activity. It will help in managing the work as well as the time in an effective manner.
All the suggestions given in the article will prove to be great if an individual will apply them in
the real-life context. Time management is an effective practice which should be applied by every
individual in their life in order to be successful.
Agree or Disagree
There are several points in this article on which I agree completely. The article has provided a
complete definition and a wide meaning of time management. I agree that one individual should
take several measures in order to manage his or her time effectively. There must be set the
deadlines by the individuals in order to effectively complete the task at the right time. The article
states that one should spend the right time on the right activity and the whole day should not be
spent in the work which can be completed within an hour. These are the main important things in
the article on which I truly agree (Creativity Post, 2014).
There is also a point in this article on which I do not agree. There is stated that one should learn
to say “No” at the workplace. One should not accept all kind of works for which he does not
have specialized knowledge. As per my point of view, one should also accept such works
because it will help them in learning new things. It is not the wastage of time but the utilization
of the time in learning new things and grooms themselves (Martínez-Prieto, et. al., 2015). Hence
these are the points on which I agree or disagree.

Further suggestions
Yes, I would like to make further suggestions to manage the time effectively. There is a
requirement of providing a rest time or the ideal time between the tasks. It is very necessary to
leave a buffer time because if we rush from one task to another, it may lead to frustration as well
as difficulties at the workplace. Giving the buffer time to ourselves can help us in being
motivated as well as focused at the work. It can help in managing the time effectively and also
ensure the mental peace of a person.
The other suggestion that can be made is that all tasks should be grouped by an individual which
are related to each other (Cottrell, 2017). The series of the tasks of a similar nature can be
completed in a lesser time period which can be helpful in saving some time and utilizing that
time in any other tasks or taking rest.
The last suggestion that can be made is to eliminate the non- essential kind of works from routine
which are no longer productive. It can prove to be very useful for a person to save and manage
their time.
