I can effectively utilize every minute and invest them in achieving the task in a shorter period.
Moreover, time management will assist me to save a maximum of the time, which will increase
my concentration level at the workplace, and help in maintaining relations (Mangement study
guide , 2019).
Question 2: What were the important points emphasized? How does this correspond to the
course concepts?
To understand the concept of time management, I watched “How to gain control of your
free time” in which time management expert Laura Vanderkam explained that while focusing on
our priorities I could save ample of time, which can be easily invested to gain a bit of joy. She
further explained that everyone has 168 hours to complete the task and fulfill our commitments,
which are more than sufficient to bring changes in our daily routine of time (Adams , 2019).
Nevertheless, all we do is, waste is precious time over those things, which hardly matters to us.
It was the very energizing and motivating video for me as I learned how to identify my
prioritized goals and responsibilities on the personal and professional level. When I watched the
video a few sentences grabbed the attention that has given me the reason to introspect my
attitude towards my aims and responsibilities (Thomack, 2012).
Time is choice: This line has highlighted the fact that every minute what we do and how
we spend is our choice, and rather saying that I do not have time to invest, it should say
that I do not like to spend my time in the activities, which are not priorities, and or
requires urgent assistance.
We do not build the lives we want by saving time, we build the lives we want and then
time saves itself

“I do not have time,” often means “It is not a priority”: It is an accurate tone to
describe though we have an abundance of time to invest, it is our choice employ time
Question 3: Can you relate to this on a personal level? Write about an experience you
endured or witnessed. Do you agree or disagree with the message in the video?
I agree with the issue that has been addressed by the time management expert Laura, as
the same situation has happened to me when I was facing difficulties in my professional life.
The problems started arising when I decided to pursue a diploma course in fashion designing
along with my B.COM studies ( Tracy, 2014). The initial months of the course were very tuff for
me, as I was juggling between both the courses and was not able to give time to decide that what
is my passion? And what are my priorities?, Due to which I was not able to perform well in both
courses, which not only affected my grades but also made me tired and puzzled. This whole
situation impacted negatively and the outcome of such chaos was that I left my passion and
concentrated on my studies (Yurii , Yevhen, & Artur, 2017). Moreover, what I learned from that
situation that if I had set my goals before, I would not have faced a similar situation that I was at
that time. This video has made me realized that I lacked time management skills, and my long-
term goals were not clear to me (Farrell, 2017).
Question 4: Has viewing the topic challenged your philosophies or beliefs?
Time management has made me realize that we all ample time to invest in the activities that can
help us to make our life productive whether it is watering the plants, teaching in school or
volunteering in the charitable institution. Benjamin Franklin who is the father of the world's
powerful nation, Unites States, once said, “Time is equivalent to money and if you can manage
