According to Alonzo, Oracle International Corp, (2014), time management is an
appropriate process of strategy designing in order to manage all the business activities in proper
manner. In fact, this will help an enterprise in attaining its set objectives or goals by performing
all the organizational activities in better ways. However, large enterprises have to take various
measures and considered several facts or figures before making final decision. Basically, main
objective of time management is to handle all the necessary plans and procedures for gaining
competitive advantage at marketplace.
This strategy aids an organization in controlling probabilities of mistakes and errors by
managing things in better ways (Eraker and et. al., 2015). For example; distribute works between
various desired or eligible employees for performing their job role. On the other hand, it has been
understood that time management is not an easy task due to improper management of an
association as well as lack of planning process. Apart from this, number of various issues is
faced by an association while managing time at workplace such as; lack of cooperation between
staff members, absence of necessary resources for attaining set targets, absence of skilled
employees and many more. Therefore, an organization has to considered necessary things while
making plans for managing time at workplace.
There are number of methods are identified which are used by an organization for
accumulating necessary facts or figures in order to attain their set targets. In fact, various
techniques for gaining information is used by company in several situations so that they can
easily make appropriate plans for achieving set targets. However, accumulation of data is
classified into various parts such as; primary and secondary methods (Gruber and et. al., 2015).
Apart from this, there are some other tools are also identified which are falls under primary and
secondary such as; sampling method, stratified sampling, interview, questionnaire and many
more (Peirson and Peirson, 2014).

2. Design and deploy a range of primary data collection methods
Primary method- Information, facts or figures which are collected through this tool are
known as first hand because this data is not yet used by any other member. In fact, this will help
in making corrective decision during time management process. As a result, company get
succeeded in minimizing the probabilities of mistakes while performing their business
operations. However, an enterprise use this method when they have to design something creative
or wanted to generate maximum revenue by satisfying customer’s needs. Basically, numerous of
methods are falls under primary method that is discussed as follows-
Interview- As per this element, an organization can acquire necessary facts or figures by
taking interview with various members through which they want to accumulate data for
final use. However, interview might be face to face conversation and telephonic round
also. In fact, sometime it can do through video conferencing also because of advanced
facilities of IT system. Basically, things that are acquired through interview are totally
first hand because a person itself is expressing their views and opinions on specific
subject matter. Hence, this shows that data is not yet used by anyone (Andonov,Eichholtz
and Kok, 2015).
Questionnaire- This method is all about designing an outstanding question paper in
which all the necessary questions have been mentioned for acquiring opinions from
distinct members on time management process. Furthermore, samples of questions are
distributed between selected sample sizes from large number of population in order to
analyse their viewpoints on time management problems. Along with this, by this method
company have an opportunity to ask for specific suggestion so that company can come up
with correct measures and easily resolve the issues that might incurred due to time
management problems.
Throughout the assessment, it has been understood that useful methods helps an
organization in understanding viewpoints of several members while helps an association while
making final decision. In fact, data accumulated from primary methods are very much true and
real because these are first hand (Calman and et. al., 2014).
