Write a summary of the TED talk and the article
Time management is different in different countries according to which it is managed. The
article is about time management and its techniques. According to Kasiros view, time is being
considered as cyclical and seasonal passage in eastern perspectives. Ted talk gives an opportunity
to understand the value of time in individual life. It produces stress as we waste time & when it is
gone value is being understood. Different techniques are to be used to manage time in both

professional as well as personal life. It help in achieving goals & objectives in proper manner. So,
it is crucial to manage time so that everything is carried out properly. If managed, it assist in
effective decision making. It is to be viewed from both western as well as eastern point of view
(Gregg, 2018).
TASK 2
Write a report on how you manage your time at work and reflect on how the concepts in the article
could apply to your work life
From the given article, I have analysed that it is essential to understand value of time with
motive of completing work or achieving success. So, at workplace I managed my time through
considering & examining all tasks that are needed to be completed, then identifying which task is at
priority. The task with most priority, use is being done at first. The given concept of article help me
to consider time analysis in all point of view through which it become easy for me to divide my
work accordingly. Thus also leads to elimination of various problems which can be occurred during
process or work.
Moreover, it also assist me in analysing how I can determine my time-frame such as how
much time it will take to finish task or work, remaining & used time etc. The article depicts about
management and decision making which are integral part of individual life. This develops my
critical thinking skills at wider level. In professional life, it is important to be active and smart in
when it comes to management of time. Furthermore, it reduces chances of conflicts & errors at
workplace. By going through article, I have gained a detailed information about concept that help in
my decision making. TED talk, is place where on can learn as well as express their ideas or
thoughts (Ahluwalia, 2018). The given article depicts that individual often gets dominated by time,
the more we want to control it, more it will dominate us. So, with appropriate decision making
process control can be put with correct measures. Thus, I have examined that this can be done by
applying critical thinking. By applying concept, it assist in using of task with priority level & then
considering on other one. Therefore, it gives a knowledge regrading work, time, process, decision
making which are to be used in most efficient manner (Viera, 2016).
