INTRODUCTION
Time management refers to a set of activity of managing and dividing the time between
many tasks. If the learned managed their time effectively, then they complete it in more easiest
way even in less time. It is noticed that many successful people manage their time effectively as
well as succeed in their life. Time management helps a person to make balance in their many
personal and professional activities (Dawson, 2021). As it allows them to proper utilise of their
each hours in a day so they can both relax and work systematically. An effective time
management helps an individual to achieve target of task with in a give timeline. This report
covers the effective management of time is important for student and importance of time
management in their life for successful study.

A learner have to perform many task at a time in their academic life
as well as they also need to look and give time to every task properly in order to achieve target
efficiently. As time management plays an essential role in organising and managing their limited
time to all tasks and activities (Nyarko and Petcovic, 2022). It assists them to manage and
prioritise their activities on the basis of its importance for them. Good time management helps
learners to complete more task in less time as they give full efforts and focus on only certain
task. Proper utilisation of time also facilitate learners in eliminating anxiety and stress so they do
not overthink constantly about how they can organise and manage less time to all tasks.
Importance of effective time management
Effective time management is very important for students in order to
make discipline to complete their learning process in academic life effectively. As it is most
essential part in their life which creates based for future career. A proper and fix time
management assists students to make balance in their work life and personal life in order to
improve their performances as well as develop their good image at school. It is significant to
them to manage and prioritise tasks and set target to utilise time effectively. As it develop a
sense of accomplishment in learner's mind as well as encourage them to put best efforts in their
future also (Sasi and Haga, 2020). Time management is necessary as it helps in focusing on

crucial tasks as well as avoid disruptions that leads in wasting of time. Along with that by proper
utilising time, learners can accomplish their success in life through engaging them selves with
learning process and adopting more functions which will prove to be important for their future
development. Effective management of time enhance the productivity and creative level of
learners as they set their target as well as conduct their practices towards them only. Students
must implement this skills in their day to day working in constant basis in order to be habitual for
that. Accruing strict time management and table also enable them in enhancing their mental or
physical health condition. It also facilitates them to take more time for their physical and
extracurricular activities which will enhance their personalities in future. For this they can also
give more time to many creative activities, hobbies, sports in order to develop more talent in
them. By managing their time for studies they are enable to compete their whole syllabus before
time so they can use extra time to revise their syllabus again to get confidence in order to
perform better in examination.
Adaptability of effective time management
Students find difficulties to follow time table and management on
regular basis also they cannot adopt this habit in them in one day. As it is very lengthy process
that require more time, discipline and efforts. By using various methods to manage time such as
divide or prioritise, fixing time limit for particular task many more which helps a learner to
develop time management skills in them in order to gain huge success in higher studies as well
as professional career. Methods of time management which learners can use or implement in
daily routine that are as follows- Divide and prioritise- First, student must set their target which they have to achieved
then they divide their task into various small steps in order to get clear understanding
about what have to done (Wang, 2019). They also prioritise their task according to their
urgency or importance as well as they start working and give more time to important task
rather than less important task. As it helps them to give more efforts to those activities
that is more important such as learning particular subject which they weak in, developing
some academic skills and many more.
Continuous practice- Only setting targets and dividing them is not sufficient for students
to get success. They must follow the same routine and time table daily on constant basis.
Continuous follow or practice of same activities will enable learners to develop time

management habits in them easily. Time management is not a activity of one day as it
needs full discipline, commitment and dedication from learners (Won and Shirley, 2018).
As they become more productive and talented by implementing many methods of
learning which well allow them to learn more in limited time that they will remember for
life long.

As per the above presented information, it is concluded that time management is most
important skill that each learner have to develop this to achieve success in life. Organising and
managing time systematically provides various opportunities to them as well as they also learn
how to use their crucial time for their betterment. Every learner must build this skill to prioritize
and divide their task addition to study to get higher grades and become successful. As it helps
students to reduce stress as well as boost their confidence level which creates a sense of
achievement among them. It enables learners to become productive and creative by
accomplishing small task before time and use that time to complete complex task.
