Time management reduces overall stress faced by students as it enables students to apply greater
focus on their studies. This reduces their stress related to exams and performing well in their
educational activities (Didinya, Ouda and Ndanu, 2018). In addition to this, students are able to
become more confident with the help of time management as they use their time effectively for
learning and practicing so that their confidence in their knowledge increases.

tasks at the same times by deciding specific time periods for various tasks so that they can be
completed simultaneously. In this way, time management improves planning efficiency of
students. Efficient planning helps students develop schedules and create long term goals for their
academic future so that they are able to perform well throughout their higher education.
Students are able to get more freedom and maintain better work life balance because of
time management. This means that they get free time for enjoying life while also fulfilling their
academic responsibilities. In this way, students are able to maintain an environment where their

From the above report, it is determined that time management plays an important role in
academic success of an individual. This is because time management helps students improve
