TIMS Information System: Requirements, Design, FDD & CASE Tools

This project focuses on the design and requirements gathering for a Training Information Management System (TIMS). It includes a questionnaire designed to gather system requirements from former and potential students, along with a response to a message regarding sample size and selection. The project outlines key system requirements such as outputs (course rosters, student information, assignment lists, performance reports), inputs (student registration, background data), processes (integration with the accounting system), performance metrics (tracking registrations, online registration handling), and controls (generating accounting data and identifying popular courses). The project also includes a Feature Driven Development (FDD) diagram illustrating the main functions of TIMS: managing class schedules, handling student registration, maintaining training records, and producing reports. Finally, the project researches and compares two CASE tools, MS Visio and Draw.io, for their suitability in system design and diagramming.
