INTRODUCTION
Mental wealth is the aspect which involves the overall wellbeing and the resilience of the
person in dealing with the different situations. The good mental wealth is essential for the person
as this will increase the working ability of the person and this will assist them in developing
themselves according to the latest changes going on in the business environment (lee and et.al,
2016). Thus, for this the most essential thing is the personal skill audit. In personal audit the
person analyses themselves and all the skill which the person is having and the areas in which
they need to develop themselves. These mental wealth competencies are important to be
recognized as this will help the person in developing their personal and professional life.
MAIN BODY
Skill audit
In this modern and advance world where the competition is very high it is very much
important for the person to have continuous analysis of the trends changing the business
environment. This is particularly because of the reason that when the person will have an
analysis of their own then this will assist the company in identifying their key strength and
weaknesses. The skill audit is a tool which assist the person in doing their own analysis and
identify the areas in which they require improvement and areas in which they need to maintain
the stability. For the managing the mental wealth competencies it is very important for the person
to analyse the skill which need to be inherited by the person. There are many different types of
skills like digital proficiency, industry connections, emotional intelligence, social intelligence,
physical intelligence, cultural intelligence community connection, cognitive intelligence and
many other.
For effective mental wealth competencies, the most of the common skills required by the
person are as follows-
Digital proficiency- this is a skill which the person need to possess in order to have a
competitive position and in order to increase the knowledge relating to the latest changes taking
place in the technological sector (Ouyang and et.al, 2016). This is particularly because of the
reason that in the current world there are many different types of changes taking place in the
technology and if the person does not adapt to these changes then this will hamper the personal
and professional development of the person.

Industry connection- this is also an important skill which assist the person in increasing
the knowledge relating to the industry and the working going on in the industry. This is
particularly because of the reason that when the industry trends and analysis will not be analysed
properly then this will have a negative impact over the person (Tan and Laswad, 2018). Thus, for
this the most essential thing for the person is to have effective researching skill in order to
analyse the working and pattern of the industry and its working.
Emotional intelligence- this is also a major type of skill which is necessary for the
person to possess in order to have good mental wealth. The emotional intelligence is the ability
which assist the person in understanding and using their emotions in positive manner to relieve
stress and communicate in a manner to overcome the challenges. For a person it is very
important to have knowledge that how they can effectively use their emotion in order to manage
their work.
Social intelligence- this is also a major important skill which is necessary for the
development of the mental wealth. This is particularly because of the reason that social
intelligence is the capability of a person to know itself and to understand other. This assist the
person in developing and managing good relation with other people and try to learn more from
other people.
Physical intelligence- in the academic and professional working the most important thing
is to have knowledge of person relating with the strengthening of the cognitive function and to
alter the mood of the person with help of the physical environment and the emotions of the
people.
Cultural intelligence- this is also an important skill which is essential to manage the
mental wealth as if the person will not be aware of the different culture then they will not be able
to work in proper and effective manner. Hence, for enhancing the mental wealth of the person
and to have effective academic and professional and personal skill it is important for the person
to effectively possess the cultural intelligence.
Community connection- this is also a very important part in the working of the person in
both professional and academic working (Richards and Gordon, 2017). The major reason for this
is that when the person has to work in group and for this the most essential thing is that the
people need to deal with the other people.

Cognitive intelligence- this is defined as the intelligence relating to the software
programmed in order to use the augment human cognitive function. This involves the use of
different technologies which are used with help of machine learning and continuous feedback
taking from the humans (Larimbi, Subroto and Rosidi, 2018). This involves many different types

This SWOT analysis also assist the person in identifying the various opportunities present in the
external market and the different threats available for the person. With the help of the above skill
audit it is clear that there are many different types of skills which are to be adapted by me. Thus,
on the basis of the above skill audit the SWOT analysis for the person working in order to
improve the mental wealth are as follows-
Strength
The major strength of the me as per the
skill audit done I am having good basic
computer knowledge and skills which
is good for academic and professional
working.
Further along with this another major
strength is that I am good at researching
skills and because of this I am able to
keep the record of all the changes
taking place in the technological sector.
In addition to this another major
strength is that I possess good self-
awareness skill and this assist in
continuous personal development (How

Weakness
With the above skill audit it is clear that
the major weakness which is present in
me is to work more on communication.
The major reason underlying this fact is
that I many mental wealth

Further along with this another major
weakness is that I need to work more
on increasing my optimistic behaviour.

major type of threat present is the
competition in the market. This is a
threat as there are many people doing
the same task and if the person is not
good then they are replaced by some
other people having more skills.
CONCLUSION
In the end it is inferred that the development of the personal analysis and skill is very
essential for the person to have secured and safe position in the company and the external
environment. Thus, from the above discussion it is clear that skill audit is a tool with which
person can analyse the fact that currently where they are standing and how can they develop
themselves in order to secure a competitive position in the market. Further with help of the
SWOT analysis after the skill audit it is helpful to analyse what were the strength and weakness
and the opportunities and threat present in the working environment.

With the assistance of the above discussion and study it is clear that the person need to
develop many of the different skills and for this some of the recommendation are as follows-
The first and foremost recommendation to the person is that they must continuously
research in the external environment and this assist with help them in developing
themselves to a great extent (Madsen, 2016).
Further in addition to this another major recommendation for the person is that for
working on the communication the person must focus on 7 Cs of communication. These
are the major essential requirement for the message to be communicated in the same and
effective manner. This 7 Cs includes the message to be clear, courteous, complete,
concise, coherent, concrete and correct (Ali, Shahimi and Shafii, 2018).
In addition to this another major recommendation for the person is that they must try to
change their perception in positive manner and take every change in positive manner.
This is majorly pertaining to the fact that when the person will have a positive and
optimistic attitude then this will assist the people in dealing with the change in effective
and efficient manner (Sekaran and Bougie, 2016).
