INTRODUCTION
The word health refers to an action or a state of complete emotional and physical well
being. The happiness in the body and in the state of mind. The health care access to help people
maintain the optimistic state to analyse everything on the basis of their perspective is called
health. According to the center for disease control and prevention ( CDC ) health care is very
essential for the people in a being well.(Kapoor and et. al., 2017). as per the given statement of
WHO regarding health, health is described as a resource for everyday life where no objective of
living health is a positive concept which increase the consideration for the social and personal
resources as well as increased the physical capacity. As per the given case case, what is the
business and what is the effect of tobacco use on the health. Generally the excess use of smoking
causes so much problem on the basis of health. The problem and issue are cancer, heart disease,
stroke, lung cancer, diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. which include chronic
bronchitis smoking also increase the risk for the life and this problems is also enhanced and
create disadvantage in growing immune system. The use of tobacco in different countries are
rapidly going on the basis of finance (Devlin and et. al., 2018). where these all tobacco product
provide great benefits on the growth of economy. So this case study, analyse how rapid use of
tobacco is being reduced on the perception this is that tobacco is not good for health but good
for business.

Factor leading to increase in number of smokers
The tobacco is now a days a common subject for everyone. As per the given case
reviews, the million of workers in the United States are doing smoking in wide range. the US
worker are approximate 32 million persons who was reporting currently active in the tobacco
products over more than 22 million work was reported. smoking cigarettes helps to decrease the
stress of the work and reduce the pressure. Rate of smoking varies by occupation in a case of
United State of America like usually there is a two kind of people a blue collar occupation and
higher of white collar workers (Marchira and et. al., 2019). On which the blue-collar workers are
more relatable in the construction and transportation department, where as the white collar
occupations are management and a sales as per this, there is a high percentage of Blue collar

workers than the white collar workers who start the smoking start to initiate. The smoking is
overall approximate 46% to 33%. moreover, among those who reported smoking are Blue collar
workers and the white collar workers. on the basis of, this is identified that the smoking is
common in now a days which is only doing by the US workforce. As per the given case study,
the cigarette, smoking is common in the US which is not good for the health of American
peoples as well as it creates so much circumstances in the health problems and created issues. the
selling of the cigarettes and tobacco products are higher in the US, which helps to grow the
economy of United State of America (Schuklenk, U., 2018). The taxes rate of tobacco products
in America is higher as comparison to other countries so as as per the given data there is
approximate 32 millions user. The active million users who are using tobacco is approximate 32
million. So, as per this the economic growth due to the tobacco product is higher in United State
of America.
Effect of smoking upon businesses
The active users or it can be said that who are using the tobacco products in a very rapid
mode. They are generally from the corporate sectors are from the labor class sectors. Tobacco
are generally used by employees who feel so much stressed and feeling low pressures in their
work. Tobacco generally reduced employee productivity in several ways including by increasing
addiction and also from the 17 studies. It will compared with a non-smoking employees to the
employees who currently smokes were 33% more likely to miss works and absent from the
workplace. From an average 2.7% in a year which is shows that the person who smokes is not
eligible as good for their work because of non focus and non concentrate on their work and as
per the studies it can be found that person who is non smoking in behavior they have more active
and instant in the work if the things compared to a smokers. Smoking reduce the work efficiency
and productivity in any organization. that studies says that the smokers who are active and they
usually smokes in their regular basis (Koehler and et. al., 2019). They are less effective in their
work and their efficiency is low as compared to another in non smokers worker. In terms of
overall economic impact the additional cost of an employee who smoke cigarette is approximate
5816 dollar which include 2056 dollar in added health care cost and 3716 dollar in lost
productivity caused. when it will about the over all average the employer's cost and additional
659 dollars per year in the medical and pharmacy cost for each employee who smokes and their
working hours. So smoking can reduce the profit and the scale margin in any organizations.

Because the employee who are addicted towards the cigarette or any tobacco product have take a
long break from their work and their go for the smoking for a long time of period. generally the
health expenditure is also attributed to smoking related illness. Tobacco use is also associated
with an increased risk of injury and property loss. Due to the fire explosion and sometime the
vehicle collision. The National fire protection association is reported that the fire in residential
structure are usually caused by the smokers. where are the fire insurance cost as typically
reduced 25% to 30% after knowing this (Noar and et. al., 2018). Data sheets when business is
going smoke-free then the workplace is positive and very workaholic. So, the smoking
intervention may also reduce cost employer save many of money annually but the employee
must to quit the smokes.

family members successfully quit smoking. the benefits arises in the health it began to acquire
immediately and the family and other are rest for their lives. The exposure or we can say that the
second hand smoke is also a risky for the health to finding that what are the aspects is arises in a
basis of disease in that particular person will start to smoking after a period of time. Relevant
studies find in 2007 that the environmental tobacco smoke in the workplace is a related to
increase so many risk factor including with the diseased or including the health issues. Generally,
the study says that there are approximate number of risk factor are found in a corporate or
workplace which is based on the lung cancers (Chen and et. al., 2016). The smoke also increase
the risk of heart disease by 30 to 35% and this leads in the strokes up to 25 to 30%. there are so
many research which is showing that the young and the middle age persons are so much addicted
to the smoke. The common rule of smoking from the youngster or the middle age people to
reduce the stress on the load of work from the mind and make the body free. The smoke created
so much risk factor in the cardiovascular events. it created the myocardial infarction in which the
heart is totally disabled after a time. while also create the heart failure and lot of strokes problem

in the body or it can say that the plaque is deposited in the path of blood flow. Find the smoking
results in the immediate effect on the health and the functioning it didn't take so much time to
create the disease and many of others complication which lead to create the death symptoms on
base of cancer (Wei and et. al., 2016). While on the smoking the problem for the complication
arises as soon as possible which is generally included decrease efficiency in their work. Generate
error at the works, irritation and lot of frustration and attend awareness is performed in the
meetings angle section and also affect the productivity to an organization.

There are many organization which pay to the non smoking person as and rewards. So,
the pay of business that provide a smoking cessation benefits to their employee as a reward is
also create a motivational aspect and the employee to quit the smoking and get some rewards or
bonus points (Bekö and et. al., 2017). which help in improved employee health, increase
productivity and reduce the cost. The total necessity or it can say that the benefit is generally
provided to employee may include health insurance coverage for the treatment. Financial
supports and or any others individual health incentives for quitting. The benefits which is
estimated to result in the health and the economic benefits are generally provided by the
organization on the basis of their economic saving. Accepting the cost of the benefits with in the
4 year the financial incentives is generally a promote the cessations.

There are many organizations which follow many of strategies to the employee for the
quitting of smoking (Darlow and et. al., 2017). So, the following strategies are generally used by
businesses to encourage employees to quit smoking and create a smoke free workplaces.

that every evidence-based smoking cessation. The counseling and the medication are fully
covered with their essential benefits without any barrier to use this. This policy has to create the
environment which is tobacco free or a smoke free the advantage is also the cost savings which
include the savings for their health facility maintenance and increase employee productivity. on
this basis, the employee communication provide a clear relational of any new policies and
resources and to reduce employee smoking which create the benefit to the business and the
employee for their work and also helpful in the business to achieving the goals. In that situation,

free environment in their work places (Popa, C., 2016). There are a lot of organization which
create the policy regarding the smoking that there is a no smoking or any tobacco products are
used in their workplaces. it's create the positive environment and workplaces in an organization.
CONCLUSION
As per the above discussion, the tobacco or cigarettes is not beneficial with aspect of
health. The evidence is clear the reducing tobacco in any organization by number employee can
improve employee health and also increase the productivity. This helps to create positive
environment in organization. Whereas, all the employees have a common goal to achieve
obejctive for individual and organization. They motivated for their work and established a
organic environment in firm for working.
