Question 1
The term ‘working effectively’ can be well understood only when a team works effectively not
an individual. Teamwork is understood as the willingness of a group of people to work together
for accomplishing a common objective. For example, people often use the phrase that he or she
is a good team player (Feathers, 2015). The person can become a good team player only when he
or she gets assistance from other team members of that particular group. It also means that
someone has the interest of the team at heart. The person works hard to get the best result from
the overall team. In this way, the business organizations work as a team where CEO or the
manager becomes the leader. Apart from these, teamwork is important for teams to work
successfully. Only when the strengths, as well as skills of the individual team members, are
joined with the mutual objectives and an emphasis on cooperative performance. An individual
must identify the work priorities and adopt a right attitude to work efficiently. Besides that,
essential skills must be built to work efficiently (Taylor, 2015). The factors that are required for a
productive work are time management, communication skills, learning as well as career
development.
Question 2
Three Torres Strait Islander service operating in the local community are Public and Coronial
Sector Monitoring, Prisoner through Care Services and Community Legal Education and Law
Reform. The three services are described below:
 Public and Coronial Sector Monitoring: The particular service is concerned
with providing legal assistance support to each and every client as well as their
families. It is affected by the criminal justice system ("Guidelines on the provision

2013). The service also monitors the treatment of customers in custody as well as

 Community Legal Education and Law Reform: The activities of this particular

Five factors which contribute to Torres Strait Islander are Breastfeeding, nutrition, physical
activity, body weight and immunization. The factors are discussed below:
 Breast Feeding: The optimum and natural food for babies are breast milk, and it
provided all the nutrients and energy to the infant. It also promotes the cognitive
and sensory development of the body (Walter, 2016).
 Nutrition: Poor nutrition is a crucial factor leading to obesity, malnutrition,
overweight and tooth decay. According to National Health and Medical Research
Council, the adults eat plenty of vegetables and fruits every day.

 Physical Activity: Physical activity is crucial to maintaining good overall health.
Low levels of activity are concerned with the high levels of sedentary behavior. It
is a risk factor for a range of health condition.
 Bodyweight: The increase in bodyweight increase a person's risk of certain
cancers and some musculoskeletal circumstances ("Subsidized medicines for
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people," 2009). According to the National
Immunization program schedule for the people of Australia, vaccinations should
be given at different stages of life to create antibodies and prevents diseases.
 Immunization: Body immunity can be increased by the injection process.
Vaccination has been very successful in subsidizing improvements in Torres
Strait Islander health and child survival.
Question 4
The strategies which are described here are based on the prevention strategies. The prevention
strategies for overweight, malnutrition, and disease are outlined below:
Strategy 1: Overweight and obesity can be prevented by organizing state and local
programs along with community efforts. The resources available from these community
programs help to propagate consistent recommendations regarding public health. On the
other hand, the community efforts should focus on supporting healthy eating and diet as
well as active living in a variability of settings (Higgins & Dale, 2012). Moreover,
community efforts include early childhood care where most of the young children spend
their time in care outside of their home. Another method is healthy living which includes
a healthy diet and regular physical activity.

nutrition. A person suffering from malnutrition must plan and make a food chart about
consuming nutritious foods. The person must visit health care organizations and do a

quality of foods as well as the damage caused by the irrational beliefs and cultural
practices of feeding (GIBSON, SEQUEIRA, CANT, & KU, 2012). The person must also
get an education about the significance and benefits of growing a kitchen garden.
Strategy 3: Now, policies for the prevention of tobacco use is described. The person who
is consuming tobacco must visit rehabilitation center. Smoking leads to cancer.
Preventive measures are harsh but successful multi-component programs prevent young
individuals from starting to use tobacco in the first place. Other strategies must be
performed by the Government of that particular country by increase the prices of tobacco
and introducing smoke-free policies and laws.

A ceremony conducted by aboriginal elders of Australia to welcome visitors to their customary
or traditional land is known as Welcome to Country. Yes, it is important. Moreover, it can take
many structures, including dancing, singing, ceremonies regarding smoking or a talk. The
celebrations depend upon the particular culture of the Traditional Owners (Taylor, 2015).
