INTRODUCTION
Career is defined as the job or profession which someone do for the longer duration of its

essential role in their tourism industry. As they are accountable to arrange tours by groups

tourism sector. From the CW1, I have been evaluated that for being tour guide, I should have

Personal Analysis
A personal analysis is considered as an essential part of people as it assists them in
analysing it sown skills and understanding as well as identifying its competent skills. This skills
utilises several techniques through which it can able to find an exact states of individuals
capabilities and knowledge (Veselova, 2018). Through analysing my own skills, this have been
analysed through me is that according to my job profile that is tour guide for which I have to
develop my skills as well as capabilities effectively and efficiently. Within the role of Tour
guide, I has to play several role as well as need to improved various skills in order to sustain for
longer duration within firm as well as manage and guide the whole team or their representatives.
According to my personal evaluation, I had identified that I have very good and deep knowledge
regarding the various areas which help me to describe the place in effective and efficient manner
to the visitors and also aids me attract more visitors. But in another hand, I has analysed that I am
lacking in time management and flexibility skills which develops problems as the time is decided
for whole places due to lacking in these skills I can not able to explain and shows them about

whole areas in effective manner. Moreover, I am very at managing conflicts skills as this will
assists me as well as my firm to resolve the disputes and issues among team so that tour can goes
on without any conflicts and in calm way. In addition to this, I has also analysed that my
communication, presentation and knowledge regarding various languages are average that help
me to guide the whole tourists, explain them about the places in many languages and others
which will be helpful for visitors to understand their languages and get knowledge regarding
place in appropriate way. With the help of all these skills and knowledges, I can able show the
areas to tourist efficaciously. Also, this have been examined that I has to develop my time
management skills and flexibility skills as it plays crucial role into my job profile as it assists me
to guide as well as manage the time as per the package of tour. I can able to develop my time
management skills through prioritizing the task, scheduling work, setting up the deadlines in
effective and continuous manner. Also, improved my flexibility skills by focusing upon the core
value, become optimistic, be calm in the particular place or areas that aids me to do its duties
effectively and facilitates visit to visitors as per them in flexible way. So, development in these
skills aids me to be sustainable for longer duration as well as accomplish the tour on time in all
situations appropriately. Therefore, I also enhances the interest among various tourists to come
and visit regularly and enjoy the tour efficaciously. The evaluation of my skills is competed
through my own analysis as well as obtain feedback and reviews from the tourists and visitors.
Moreover, the accountabilities is to deal with traveller and facilitate information regarding
various tour packages, destination, time and many more. At the ends according to my personal
analysis, I will develop my time management and flexibility skills as well as little bit the
communication and presentation skills by communicating with others efficaciously and ways of
presenting your views and knowledge in more appropriate ways which help me to interact with
various person as well as represent its views in front of visitors.
