INTRODUCTION
Tour operation management can be
simply referred as managing
activities like providing
accommodation, travel services,
providing services of food, etc. by the
tour operators. There are different
trends that is used by corporation in
order to develop their services. The
different factors are considered here
are globalization, safety and security,
services and their price value.
GLOBILIZATION
In this world, travellers are moving
in large number freely around all
over the globe. There are several
tourists that are arriving in large
number every year. A survey is
conducted that shows that around
674 million people came in the year
of 2000 that is now reached up to
799 million in the year of 2005. This
reflects an increment of around
18.25 % and in 2010 it reaches up to
950 million (that is around 20.56 %).
SAFETY AND SECUTITY
Organisation has to increase their safety and
security management as the number of
terrorist attack in all over the world is
increasing day to day. The case of kidnapping,
robbery, plane high-jack and murders are seen
at most. So, it is the prior task of corporation
to enhance the level of security so that safety
can be provided to each and every citizen
travelling outside their town or nation. The
measures of security have been increased at
most places like airports, railway stations by
government. For this they have invested a
large sum of money.
SERVICES
Competition in the field of travel and
tourism is increasing day on day as large
number of travel agencies has been set up
in the United Kingdom. So, corporation
have to concentrate more on providing
quality services in comparison to other
agencies so that large number of travellers
gets attracted toward their hotels. This will
also aid in making a unique image or
popular brand.
CONCLUSION
The major problem of present
trading is that corporations are not
improving their safety and security
policies that must be improved as
crimes has been increasing year on
year. Additionally, some of
company are applying wrong
policies like they are creating
website having false information
about prices and facilities. They
provide ordinary services but
mentioned on their website that
they are offering extraordinary one.
These all should not be done.
PRICE -VALUE
This is one of important factor that is
required by every citizen in present
scenario. Users have changed their
view point regarding the cost of
hotels. They want best servicing and
facilitates because they are paying a
lot for that. In-fact, guests are ready
to pay a little more if company is
providing services according to their
view point.
