INTRODUCTION
Travel and tourism industry is consider as one of the fastest growing sector in UK and
succeeded in generating highest revenue at marketplace. However, hospitality sector are coming
up with unique ideas and creative concept for facilitating their desired customers. Thomas cook
is one of the most successful tourism organizations that engage in providing best holiday
packages to their customers (Filby, Stockin and Scarpaci, 2015). Basically, it is multinational
association which is having more than 21000 staff members in distinct branches by having its
headquartered in Peterborough, England. Therefore, assignment is going to highlight influence of
various changes in trends on tour operators industry and various aspects associated with
development of tourism sector. Furthermore, various stages of enhancing holidays as well as
distinct methods of contracting is also framed in the project. Additionally, various methods
which are used by an organization to sell their holidays packages such as; brochure, traditional
one and so on are further outlined in the assignment. At last, various types of decisions are taken
by tour operators in several situations will discussed in the project.
