1CVF QUADRANT
In the era where the innovation and productivity are the quintessential necessities for any
organisation, leaders must invest themselves in finding new ways of innovating, deploying
resources and focusing on the ways of growing and changing the system as and when required.
The ups and down and the occurrence of the exhausting situations sometimes demotivates the
leaders or the managers who are supposed to provide motivation to their teams (Palmer-Schuyler
and Gourdine,2012,). The demotivation of the leaders affects the team negatively. Thus, the
leaders also need to self monitor themselves. The application of the right quadrant in the
framework of their course can eventually help a monitor to retain his motivations in the most odd
hours and also to enhance the motivation of his team.
The essential CVF quadrant required by the managers in the tourism and hospitality
segment is:
1. Relating to people: This quadrant requires the leadership role of mentoring his selves in the
area of understanding their own needs of developing or caring. The leader must also focus on the
ways of innovation he can make in the domain to improve the condition. (Palmer-Schuyler and
Gourdine,2012,)
2. Leading change: the manager must keep up the spirit of undertaking and initiating the change
in the organisation.
3. Managing people: the proper co ordination and understanding the organisational vision and
goal and keeping up the team spirit will motivate the manager himself.
4. Producing Result: by focusing on the outside competition and incorporating speed and work
ethics in own organisation, the manager will be able to provide clear directions and

communication with the team that will enhance the result. Positive results will encourage not
only the leaders but the team as well.
