The future trend and development must be predicted and assessed prior to tourism are
among the top growing and developing the sector. The graph below makes an estimation
for the international arrivals for the tourist from 1995 to 2030 in millions (by regions).

It was estimated that in 2020, the arrivals will be 101 million in the middle of East and 149
million arrivals will be accounted in 2030. Europe reaches at the rank for the highest
number of international arrivals by 745 million in 2030. And 620 million in the year 2020 and
America will rank third in terms of international arrivals in 2030 and 199 million
international arrivals in the year 2020 (UNWTO, 2017).

from 1950 – 2030. According to the research, the tourist arrivals are expected to increase by
3.3% in the period of 1950- 2030. It is expected to have an increased in the number of
international tourist in 2020 by 1.4 billion and it will account to reach at 1.8 billion in 2030.
The growth rate is double that is (+4.2%) for international tourism arrivals in some of the
destinations of Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America, Middle East, Africa. In the
year 2030, Pacifica and Asia are the regions with the strongest growth can be estimated in
the arrivals by 535 million. The slow growth is estimated in America where the estimation
will decrease by 150 million. Thus the global market share of the Middle East, Asia will be
expected to increase (UNWTO, 2017).

Infrastructure: It is the emerging trend and challenge for the tourism industry. Most of the
tourist destinations are popular for the infrastructure and the reason for the attraction for
tourism. But it becomes the challenge to maintain the infrastructure properly.
Security: Security is the biggest concern in the tourism industry. The tourist destinations
must be secured and there must be no danger as for any kind of fear or danger from
terrorism. The governments must be ensured that the tourist destinations must be
safeguarded and secured.
Taxes and other expenses: Tourism sector becomes more expensive and it also covers more
taxes issues. Most of the countries and tourist destinations are the most expensive for the
tourist and it affects the tourism sector also. The high number of taxes is also being paid and
bear by the tourist.

It can be concluded from the report that the UK is among the main tourist destinations in
the world in terms of a number of visitor and income generation. The statics is also
