• While over 50 % of these tourist entrants were form Europe. Tourism is one of
the fastest growing industry in the world.
• Given these statistics the question arise is that how sustainable is tourism in the
area. A primary key to identify the sustainability is the impact of it on the
economical, social and environmental factors. Issue of spiraling carbon emission
is arising due to tourism.

Overall Argument
The Major aim of this project is to evaluate social, environmental
and economical aspects of tourism on mount Everest and to find
ways to reduce the negative impacts.

at the place. This causes major degradation of the resources of place.

place also. Trekking and catering needs of the tourists turn into enhancement of
the rubbish.
• Due to global warming the glaciers of the place also gets degrade. Global
warming also causes water pollution generated by adulteration of the fresh water
with human and animals waste .
