positive outcomes. Men and women of every segment should possess rights to contribute their

disabilities. Each and every individual of society can explore and visit places according to their
preferences by availing public and private services. Equality is highly followed in tourism
industry without any discrimination which promotes their growth. In order to make tourism more
accessible, tourism industry focus on their infrastructure by constructing hotels, roads and
airports in required areas. It provides relevant knowledge about the social and cultural factors of
particular destination which maintains appropriate equality.

On the other hand there are various negative impacts can be seen in the society due to
tourism which also impacts the equality. Some of the global destinations does not promote
gender equality which create negative impact on the mind of visitors. The behaviour of travellers
may affect the thoughts of local people and stakeholders which causes negativity. Sometimes,
most of the people tend to misuse the resources available in host country which results in
depletion of natural resources (Sheppard and Fennell, 2019). Large number of tourism may
affect the quality of environment as they contribute in raising the pollution. People mainly
pollute public places which results in increase of pollutants in air and water. It is analysed that
some of the places are not appropriate for elderly age group people which disturbs their mental
health. Global destinations which charges higher prices for their visit can affect the particular
segment of society who can not afford higher prices. High charges and fares disturb the economy
which should be focused by tourism industry so that every segment can avail services in
appropriate manner. Destinations are also facing number of crimes on regular basis due to travel
of tourist which affect their society.
