by US are still not accepted so the tourists face currency related problems and one other
thing which affect Cuba is that American banks still not enabled ATM's. There are hotels
are not available and also they increase transportation cost so the tourist move to other
destinations (Bangdiwala and et.al., 2010). For solve these problems the government of
Cuba have to take step to improve its infrastructure. Lack of medical facility :- There are no private hospitals or clinic, all the hospitals run by
the government of Cuba, in that case if tourists have any emergency then there are no
facilitation of hospitals to admit them so it is also affected the popularity of Cuba. They
need technology and experts to offer quality care to their tourists.
Lack of foreign investment :- lack of foreign investment also have negative impact on
the tourism industry of Cuba. If the investors invest capital in Cuba tourism industry then
it will be helpful to Cuba.
Nowadays the government of Cuba run the major program to reopen the old hotels and resorts so
it may be increase tourists which helps to improve their current economic conditions and they
reintroduce facilities and other things which is important for the Cuba tourism (Benedetti,
