INTRODUCTION
Travel and tourism role is to conduct activities for economic growth which is vast and
important. This section provides a particular attention to a specific segment. Travel and tourism
sector is having high growth are and due to this economy of country is also growing well
because when one section of economy grows then it is not only itself grow but it also helps in
progress of nation’s economic growth. Activities that are related to recreation, profession or any
other reason whether personal or professional for visiting a new place are defined as tourism.
There are two types of tourism which are global and domestic or local level tourism. There are
many analysis that presents that tour operating industry is showing not only high growth rate but
also have greater profit margins in industry. This reports is based upon TUI company which is an
Anglo-Germen company and have its headquarter in Hanover, Germany.

1.1 Analysis of major tourist destinations in the world in terms of visitors
TUI company is a well known player in travel and tourism sector that provides a wide
range of services like airlines, hotel, retail stores and cruise ships. Visitors can avail all these
facilities according to their travel plan. There are many places that this tour operator firm offers
to its clients as visiting places are Spain, Italy and France etc. This firm is having around 6
airlines in European that comprises holiday fleet that is largest in entire Europe and also has 9
operators. It is been analysed that over the years living standards of people whom are living in
United Kingdom has been increased and due to this growth in travel and tourism sector also
measured because people are having more disposable income that they can spend of purchasing
different travel plans. There is an hike in number of traveller that helps organisations as well as
economy to generate higher rated profit margin and growth. According to a report that was
published in 2013, number of travellers was 32.6 billion approx and in 2014 it was 31.1 million.
These numbers are also explaining population condition in UK.
As stated above, number of tourists are increasing and due to this companies have
sufficient number of clients but due to emergence of novel tour operator, it is required from

according to the popularity of number of visiting place in France, it is becoming one among the
top preferred place from customers point of view. This increases numerical ratio of visitors who
are visiting this place. As a result, it contributes in developing interest of government to invest
money in maintaining their monuments in order to attract maximum number of visitors towards
it.
Turkey
This is a precious place that fascinate many people to come and explore beauty of this
place by wandering and looking for them. In 2017, around 39.9 million people visited Turkey
and it is ranked as sixth most visited place in world, UNWTO data revealed (With 39.9 million
tourists in 2017, Turkey named 6th favourite vacation spot, 2018). There are many changes that
are to be included in travel and tourism sector of country.
Thailand
This country has its different uniqueness and this kind of characteristics attracts many
visitors and due to this there are many companies that are availing this situation for generating
higher growth and profit margin in marketplace. Tourist Arrivals in Thailand increased to
2712030 in October from 2655560 in September of 2018. Tourist Arrivals in Thailand averaged
1458435.69 from 1997 until 2018, reaching an all time high of 3566890 in February of 2018 and
a record low of 399600 in May of 2003 (Thailand Tourist Arrivals, 2018). As per the stated
figure, it can be said that number of visitor for Thailand are declining continuously. Main reason
