MAIN BODY
Understanding the tourism environment and its stake holders at the tourism destination country
Sustainable tourism refers to the concept which covers the experience of complete
tourism which includes the concern for social, economic and environmental issues as well and
attention to improve the tourists experiences. It is the concept which has been defined by the UN
Environment Program and UN world tourism organisation. It basically takes into account of the
future and current social, economic and environmental impacts which addresses the requirements
of the visitors. The main target of sustainable tourism is that to increase the benefits and reduces
the negative impacts which has been caused by the tourism for destinations. It can be basically
achieved by protecting the natural environments and natural resources when managing and
developing the tourism activities (Din., 2018). There are certain main responsibilities of
sustainable tourism which include the natural resources, protecting the environment and wildlife
as well. There are certain principles for sustainable tourism development in the destination
country which can be defined into the following manner: First of all it is important that to use the
resources into sustainable terms in the UK country and also reduces the over-consumption and
waste as well. When the over consumption and waste has been reduced then it also avoids the
cost of restoring the long term environmental damage and also contributes to the quality of
tourism. It is important to promote and maintain the social, natural and cultural diversity which is

essential for long term sustainable tourism. Tourism which supports for the wide range of local
economic activities that takes the environmental costs and values into account which protects
these economies and also avoids the environmental damage as well. These are the main
principles which can be used for sustainable tourism development into the UK country. So its
very important to focus on the sustainable tourism development.
Stakeholders are basically the groups or people who positively or negatively impacted by
the initiative, project, organisation or policy(Kapera., 2018). There are majorly two types of
stakeholders which include internal and external stake holders. Stakeholders are important
because it empowers the people and engages in terms of informing the decisions and also support
the need for long term sustainability. Stakeholders plays a very significant role in terms of
sustainable development and growth as well. According to Goeldener and Ritchie, there are four
main stakeholders which plays a very significant role in the tourism development. It basically
include tourist, business providing the tourist goods and services, entrepreneur and the
government of the host community. Stakeholders are very important because it monitors all the
traditional and social activities and practices of all the people of different countries. When the
role of stakeholders is taken into serious terms then the decision making has been influenced for
the sustainable tourism development. Stakeholders are very important because as it help in terms
of balancing and coordinating the decision-making which is based on the interests and
requirements of relevant parties(Khatri., 2019). Stakeholders are those who take initiative for
the business where they act as entrepreneur for the company's growth and development as well.
Here, the entrepreneur sees the tourism as an opportunity in order to make profit through
providing goods and services that the tourist is interested. The host community are those people
who consider the tourism as avenue and culture for employment. The local environment which
include the politicians where tourism has been viewed as the wealth factor in the jurisdiction so
their point of views also affect the decision making of the sustainable tourism development.
There are certain macro environmental factors which contribute into context of
sustainable development of the tourism destination. The main macro environmental factors
which include the economic factors, demographic factors, technological factors, natural factors,
political, legal, social and cultural factors. Political factor is very important because it is majorly
about the country's political stability factor which needs to be considered for sustainable tourism
development of the UK country. As the country is politically very strong in terms of stability

factor and also economic factors are also very significant which lead towards the growth and
development in terms of economic level. As there are different kind of age group people lives in
the country and their decision also contribute into context of development also matters for the
growth and development(Rasoolimanesh and et.al., 2020). There are different kinds of
technologies which changes on a very fast pace manner so its very important to implement the
technologies for the further growth and development. There are certain cultural factors which are
very important for the sustainable growth and development of UK country because their culture
also makes positive impact on the further growth and development of sustainable tourism of UK
country. It has been observed that legal factors are also very important for the UK'S sustainable
development because there are certain rules and regulations which needs to be followed into
effective terms. The business of tourism industry get affected through the fiscal policy, GDP,
monetary policy, employment rates
and consumer spending. There are certain negative impacts as well which affect the tourism
development of the country where through support of macro environment factor it becomes very
difficult to predict the changes and also change on the rapid pace manner. It can be challenging
in terms of managing and responding into negative terms due to which it becomes very difficult
to do the development into positive terms(Roxas and et.al., 2020).Macro environment factors are
also those which act as into the costly terms due to which it takes very long period of time to
analyse and monitor as well. Macro environment factors also include various financial aspect of
the country due to which the decisions taken for the development of country into sustainable
terms gets impacted on the larger scale. So in the overall manner, it has been observed that the
macro environment factors are very difficult to analyse and can't be always impactful for the
further growth and development of the country UK into sustainable terms. That's why macro
environment factors up to a certain context contribute into positive terms for the sustainable
development of the tourism destination.
There are certain competitive micro environment factors and tourists which motivates the
factors which influences the demand of the tourism product (Tien and et.al., 2019). The main
micro environment factors of the business basically include customers, competitors, suppliers,
public, marketing intermediaries and workers and their union. There are customers who compare
the services and execution level so they want best product in the field of tourism. Within this

industry, there are lots of competitors into the market which affect the performance of this
industry due to which they have to always come up with unique ideas in order to retain the
customers for longer period of time. Within this industry, it is very important that to maintain a
good relationship with the suppliers and tourists as well because they are the major supporter and
also the major source of income as well. Within the public it is very important to maintain a good
brand image so that further development can be done into effective terms with the right kind of
approach(Zhou., 2021).There are certain kind of marketing intermediaries which contribute into
context of decision making of the development of UK country into sustainable terms. There are
certain kind of workers which help in terms of taking the appropriate decision by sharing their
point of view so that positive development and growth can be done into effective terms of UK
country's sustainable growth. As there are different kinds of customers into the market so there
are different kind of preferences which needs to be fulfilled in order to maintain good
relationship with them.
These are the certain micro environment and tourists motivating factors which influences
the demand of the tourism product. As they are helpful in terms of nature but it sometimes it
does not act as supportive system from the longer perspective. So in the overall manner, it has
been observed that there should be proper understanding of tourism environment otherwise it
becomes very challenging to do the work into effective terms for development of a particular
country into sustainable terms. That's why it is very important that that to consider micro
environment factors into serious terms so that further decision can be taken into unique and
appropriate terms as well. So in the overall manner, it has been observed that sustainable tourism
is very important because it help in terms of reducing the effects which are into the context of
negative manner (Zsarnoczky., 2018).There are certain principles for sustainable tourism
development in the main destination country and there are different kinds of stakeholders which
are involved in the decision-making of sustainable tourism development. There are certain macro
environmental factors which contribute into context of sustainable development of the tourism
destination. At the industrial level, there are micro environmental factors into context of positive
development and growth into sustainable manner of the UK country.
That's why its very important to understand the role of stakeholders into the positive
development and growth of the tourism industry and its environment as well. The tourism
environment and industry is very important because it majorly contribute into context of the
