PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a professional head chef, I have more than 20 year experience of handling kitchen,
preparing healthy nutritious meals and inspire staff members. I have learnt many things in my
employment duration that has made me able to quickly adapt in changing environment. I want to
get position in successful company where I can utilise my skills and experience in appropriate
manner and can serve consumers well. I am self motivated person and have good listening skill.
This ability of mine always supports me to convey message to consumers effectively and make
them satisfied towards brand. I am good leader; I can lead team well and can motivate them so
that they perform their duties well.
When I have decided to work in big firm, then I started thinking for the best universities
which conduct this course. There are many colleges who offer courses related to tourism. But I
wanted to apply for the course where I can get knowledge about international market, travel
industry, tourist behaviour and geographical locations etc.
I searched about various courses and found that this university is offering my desired
course. Previous records show that there are many students who have completed this course from
this academy and now are working as successful people. This is the best option for me to take
admission in this university.
I had worked as head chef in assistant manager cater link London from 2009- 2014. I
have also worked as sales assistant from 2001- 2003. I have completed my travel and tourism
management HND level 4/5 in 2017. I have completed food safety training and food nutrition
education from well known university. I know about the test and preference of consumers well.
This getting admission in international tourism management course would be suitable option for
me through which I would be able to accomplish my goal.
This university’s course can help me in improving my knowledge and developing me as a
successful tour operator. I want to apply for this course because I believe that this is a suitable
academic course that meets with my goals. I want to develop professionalism within me and
want to move ahead in my life.
I have exceptional customer service skill, time management abilities. I am very confident
and supportive. When I was working as sales assistant then I have learnt about answering
customer enquiries and serving to them well. During the employment in compass London, I
improved my knowledge about monthly planning, checking all deliveries etc. All these things

have raised my understanding of working professionally. I am critical thinker and a good
motivator. I can present myself greatly that help me in standing out from crowd. I have done
many courses and training that are similar to this tourism industry in order to raise and update
my skills. Therefore, I am committed towards my goal and want to continue my professional
career by getting admission into tourism management course.
