new tourism model that would allow country in maintaining the competitive environment and
best market for all tourist in the future. Furthermore, the study will explain the importance of
tourist management to manage various resources of nation and ensure country development in
long run. Moreover, study will help in understanding of the complexities of the tourism industry
through various factors that are responsible for the current situation of Madrid. Also, relevant
evidence and data will also be collected so that best solutions might be devised to Madrid to
improve tourism within the country in the future. Lastly, the report will be used to inform the
numerous stakeholders that would use the information to understand the complexities and also
think of ideas that are essential for growth of the country.
MAIN BODY
Presenting certain economic dimensions
In case of Madrid it can say that it is rich country that has various economic and social
developments to attract more tourists within the country. Also, it is known that the new FITUR
that is been going to be conduct in Madrid would be beneficial for economic reasons as it would
help in creating more job opportunities within the country through which more number of
people would be able to increase the standard of living and their livelihood (Sigala and
Robinson, 2019). Furthermore, it would also help in promoting the local business that is
struggling to grow over the years. Also, major importance for the tourism industry would be that
it would allow in increasing the annual disposable income of the people that is good for the
overall country development and also to improve the number of tourist visits within the country.
Moreover, in context of economic reasons it can be said that more foreign direct
investments would be attracted which means that Madrid would be able to allow new business
establishment within the country that would aim in bringing new competitive resources and
innovation that is good for improving the tourist condition within the country. Also, for
economic reasons it can be said that such kind of development is very good as it allows in
understanding what are reasons for having such complexities so based on that best steps be taken

conducting all such activities that help in ensuring that there is greater scope of sustainability and
innovation in all the activities that are been undertaken for the purpose of the tourist attraction.
Also, such activities help in growth and development of the country on large scale as all the
natural resources are taken utmost care and also other people would come to know that Madrid
satisfy most of the demand of the tourists in the best sustainable manner in long run (Timothy,
2018). Furthermore, this new model is good for the Spanish tourism industry as it would not only
allow in the survival of the various small scale industries and sector but would also help in
development of the new emerging business models that would allow small business to survive
better in the ever-changing business environment. Thus, now it can be seen in Madrid that to
overcome the complexities of tourism industry there is been smart tourism development projects
that would use efficient communication technologies so that highly competitive services might
be created to satisfy various tourist needs and wants.
However, it can be said that though the tourism industry in terms of economic aspects in
Madrid had helped in increasing the annual income of various households from sales of various
goods but it had also led to price rise in various countries. (Freeze, 2021) Furthermore, due to
this reason the local people are forced to purchase highly priced products within their own
country making the situation slightly worse. Therefore, it is very much required that local as well
as tourists grasp the idea of the overall country motive of this new sustainable model so based on
that more tourists might improve the country image and helps in the overall developments in
recent times/ Moreover, if Madrid through this model is able to achieve certain economic goals
than it would help in building new and improved infrastructure of the various old heritage sites
that represent some of the most interesting cultures of the country history.
Explaining certain shareholders dimensions
It can be said that though Madrid is one country that is rich in culture but due to the lack
of proper attraction of tourists within the country its culture had been remained unknown to most
of the people around the world. Thus, the new FITUR would help allow various people from
other countries to conduct trade talks and would also help in exchange for the cultural ideas
among various shareholders (Ferguson, 2018). Also, new business model of tourism would allow
more tourists to know about the lifestyle of Spanish people and would enhance their learning and
knowledge. Furthermore, local communities residing in the country would also be able gain the
useful insights about the different cultures and thus would help them build the strong bonds with

other societies all around the world. Moreover, with such kind of knowledge dimension
shareholders like local authorities are able to discover the hidden aspects of other cultures and
also they try to learn some of them through developing goods and services according to the
demands of tourists that are visiting the country each year in large numbers. Thus, such kind of
developments is good because it would allow the local culture of Spanish to reach amongst the
large societies residing around the world (Vujičić, 2019). Moreover, it would not only increase
the value of the local goods but would also force other visitors that are planning to visit the
country to make plans in exploring new places and develop their understanding about various
cultures.
Moreover, government stakeholders in Madrid are also very active in uplifting the
various sections of societies through ensuring active public and management participation in
suggesting better ways of development and innovation within the country. Furthermore,
government support various small companies such as waste removal company to ensue
sustainability at various public places (Stakeholders in tourism development, 2022). Also,
government stakeholders promotes more local business that are continuously innovating and
sustainability through providing the required incentives so that they are able to grow in more
useful manner over the years. Also, stakeholder like workers also plays very important role in
creating awareness among their friends and known people about the environmental protection
and development of the country so that more useful insights and changes might be brought in
systematic manner.
Furthermore, they help in monitoring all traditional and social practices of tourists that
are visiting from different countries. Thus, shareholders are the vital source of the development
of the country and it helps in increasing the number of tourist in the current and future time in
most effective manner (Seo and Sam-Hun, 2018). Also, it helps in balancing and coordinating
the decision-making of the country in way that would help in preserving the natural resources as
well assure continuous growth and development of Madrid in terms of number of tourists. Also,
tourist establishment and enterprise such as airlines, train buses etc. are also very important part
in ensuring sustainable development and overcoming certain complexities of the tourist industry
in the best manner.
Furthermore, stakeholder plays significant role in assuring positive experience of various
tourists through providing innovative facilities and promoting the public attractions that further
Document Page
increase the number of visitors in the coming years. Also, it can be said that modern tourism is
complex web that requires proper planning and development of the tourism projects. Moreover,
there are various other stakeholders such as tourism educational centres and tourist specialist
organization that plays variety of role in tourist development. Also, tourism planners are now
introducing the packages where tourist would not only able to gain useful insights about various
places but would also be in better position to understand about unique characteristics of
particular destination (Kankhuni, 2020). Also, it can be said that stakeholders are active on
various social media channels and hence through such medium they are able to create more
awareness among the youth so that they also help in creating the positive impact on the overall
country development. Furthermore, economic growth is not the individual but the groups efforts
that would lead to the slow but best outcome for any country. Hence, the collaborative approach
of the all stakeholders and the role of the FITUR in the development of nations would provide
Madrid pathway to the prosperity and expand the economic opportunities that are necessary for
attracting more tourist within the country in coming times. Also, the new tourism policy would
help in developing various skills of stakeholders and also allow in revenues generation of
country in regulated and managed manner.
Tourists' motivations:
Motivation is a reason behind which numerous factors are involved and carry out the
behavioural bases of one's actions. To stimulate someone or something can be very influential in
any form and is considered to be a great factor of appraisal. Similarly, motivation in the category
of tourism industry is an integrating network of various combined human forces that results in
the value of that particular region and its identity. Tourists of all kind have different behavioural
changes, choices, preferences and tastes of their own which differ them from one another and
their reason of being a tourist is also in distinction from others (Özdemir, and Çelebi, 2018.).
There are many factors and features which affect the motivation strategies and decision-making
in the tourism industry. Below ones are to be considered critically:
1. The physical motivators:
These are the factors that involve physical consciousness, connected with their well
being, welfare, and other physical relaxation factors. These can be in similarity with the
psychological influences that affect the people mentally. The Madrid region is very famous for

the tourist destination and it is essential for it to increase the area of its operation by providing a
suitable environment and culture that can motivate numerous tourists from across the globe.
2. The cultural motivators:
This includes factors such as heritage, tradition, entertainment acts, etc. that differs from
region to region. This is the factor which can influence the tourists for visiting a particular region
for experiencing its beauty, peaceful environment and various ethnic views in the context of
tourism. The culture of Madrid region is rich in its own historic beauty ensuring enough for the
tourists to invest in (Martín-Fernández. and et.al., 2021). It is a mixture of Europe's artistic
scenes and thriving environment that can entertain the audience and turn into a permanent tourist
spot
3. The interpersonal motivators:
A stimulation that can derive the desire out of the humans for sharing their interpersonal
relations with their informal ties is called the interpersonal motivators. The tourists spot should
be set up and modified in a way that can influence them from their rising hassles of everyday life
and which can allow them to spend their luxury time among the beauty of the natural elements.
Located at one of the European Peninsulas, the Madrid region is the most preferred spot to fulfil
family and friend ties in order to enhance their interpersonal skills. Therefore, it should make
efforts to attract a bunch of tourism to elaborate the beauty of the Peninsulas.
4. Status motivators:
There are many people who travel according to their financial and economical statuses.
To attract such tourists can be of a great significance, since it can be the reason of an increased
economy levels in the world. Such a factor can also influence more tourists because of the trend
following mentality of the human nature. It is important to take care of such a responsible factor
of overall gain (Chen. and et.al., 2020. ).The Madrid region, thus in the course of Covid 19
pandemic, should increase its level of hospitality and should engage with various promotional
activities to spread awareness about their new ventures and its beneficiaries.
5. Prestige motivators:
The prestige factors are often connected with the tourists' everyday living habits. These
can include the type of roof they live in, their surroundings, their neighbouring elements, etc. It
can even include the lifestyle and personal safety they command for their survival. The Madrid
region, in the favour of FITUR, can even improve the honour and prestige for both the individual
Document Page
and community sectors for maximum tourist attraction in Spain and can contribute in the high
living standard of their economy levels.
The motive of tourism across the globe are similar in the fact that it is a productive
activity both for the region and its economy. In order to improve its reach and existence, it is
necessary for the operating body to prioritize the evolution right from its initial stage itself for
the better connectivity with the world (Güner, Hasanoğlu, and Aktaş, 2020.). It also explains the
fact that tourism is the fastest growing industry in the world as compared to others because of its
free nature of connecting with a large audience and integrating the relations which can further
enhance different aspects of the community and its culture.
Globalisation:
The interdependence of one region on the other has lead to the rise of globalization across
the world. It has beneficially affected many industries and regions in terms of economies,
cultures, population, etc. and has given rise to international trade in the market.
With the view of the tourism industry, globalisation has played a significant role in its
expansion by forming strong economical and political ties with other areas and regions. The
main influential forces of tourism and globalisation are the economical, technical, political and
cultural advantages of one region with another. It has also resulted in the exchange and
transmission of knowledge, skills, innovative ideas, etc. with the view of enhancing the overall
productivity.
One of the main factor of global tourism is the FITUR, that supports trade relations with
different cultures and traditions and also organizes consultation spot for the interaction of various
professionals and leading bodies of tourism industry. This fair is often conducted with the view
of exchanging services, networks, and also for enhancing the business knowledge and skills with
each other for expansion of the operating activities.
FITUR on Globalization:
The event of FITUR has a significant impact on globalization as it enhances the reach
and connectivity of the participants along with the rise in their economies (Alberca, Parte, and
Rodríguez, 2018). One of the many tasks included the heritage and culture of various regions and to
promote the culture diversity with the help of technology and innovation. Since the Madrid
Document Page
region is rich in its own culture and heritage, being a part of FITUR can intensify the tourism
rates in the region and can even benefit from the presence of globalisation.
Having both pros and cons in the industry of tourism, FITUR has always tried to improve
the area of competitive advantages of various regions. This factor often results in a negative
aspect because every region tries to be competitive enough and in this course of action it
becomes almost impossible to focus on the main motives behind the set up of the event. The
regions are no doubt enhancing their sustainability and dynamiting the overall improvisation, but
not as a whole. The number of people in the want of their own advantage are at a great number
which encourages them to reduce the social safety and hinder the beauty of such effective
programmes. To reduce such mismanagement, various measures should be made to improve the
way of motivating and stimulating people to not reduce the quality of such initiatives raised by
the organizations to help and assist the countries in coming together and enhancing and sharing
the pleasing phenomenons of their own regions and further improvising the amendments made
in such events.
FITUR is nothing but an aspect and a way to socialize and engage with the global events
and to learn from their people of different nature, behaviour and preferences and to observe that
how can the others relate with them in some aspects and how can they further enhance the rate of
their success in the context of globalization. The event strives to be the global benchmark for the
future of the tourism industry by bringing in more talent and specializing the area of their
operations. As it is now already understood the benefits of globalization on the economy, the
potential of FITUR should also be in the knowledge of the people concerned with it. It looks for
and identifies the challenges and sets the most appropriate solutions to it through the
international meets by interacting one region's people with the another and other measures as
swell. In order to normalize the living standards of people participating, the event has even
assisted in the travelling modes by launching their own airlines and has modified the route of
FITUR for globalisation. Being an international trade fair, FITUR has really set some goals that
are appreciable to the full extent by initiating an event that highlights the tourism power in front
of the world. Such influential measures should be always supported for the rise and shine of an
economy through the mediums of technology and innovation (TOURISM MOTIVATION. 2018)..
It is even a guidance towards the peace treaty between different countries and regions

CONCLUSION
With reference to the tourism management and their consultants' report, this discussion
has reached to a conclusion which states that the Madrid region's new tourism model can be a
beneficial point for the tourism sector after its downfall due to the pandemic of Covid 19.
Keeping in mind the various economic dimensions such as the job opportunities, resources,
competitive terms, etc. the Madrid region has a high growth opportunities in the light of FITUR's
global event. From the point of view of the shareholders whose main task is to invest in the
profitable things can even benefit from the Madrid region's acceptance of the FITUR even which
can be beneficial for them in terms of monetary and non monetary advancements. Lastly it can
also be concluded that the tourism motivation theories and globalization move in the parallel
directions because both are not useful without the presence of the other in this dynamic world.
