INTRODUCTION
Tourism plays a significant role in planning and development. The present report aims at
understand rationale and different approaches of tourism planning and development. The report
also dealt with Qatar, which is a country, who organize different sports events annually and in
2019, it also hosting a World Athletics Championship. The report presents, how stakeholder can
benefit from the planning of tourism development and advantages or disadvantages of public/
private sector. In the reference of Qatar, report also analyses features of tourism development
planning at different levels. It evaluates the significance of interactive planning system and
process in tourism development. The report helps to understand meaning of sustainability and
present different factors that hinder sustainable tourism development. It also evaluates the
morale and ethical issues of enclave tourism and also presents different methods of resolving
conflicts in order to ensure the future well-being of developing Qatar. It also compares and
contrasts the current issues that are associated with tourism development.

importance of international level tourism development planning is to understand change
in economic, social and environmental change that impact on the tourism destination. It is
the most important tool that help in planning as well as analyses the data for future
trends.
 National Level: Under this level of tourism planning, only national policies and
plannings are concerned. This planning inspire public as well as private sectors to work
in partnership and meet the basic objectives of Qatar. As they wants long term value,
brand revelation that help to attract national communities and as a result they benefits to

METHODS OF RESOLVING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Most of the issues related to conflict are arise due to beliefs of locals sector. In the context of
Qatar, it is a country which host many international events in the upcoming year and there are
various methods which will help to resolve a conflict of interest in order to ensure a future well-
being of the country and these are mention below:Stakeholder’s satisfaction: Tourist or
visitors play an important role and only their reviews will enhance the rating of particular
places. If the stakeholder are not satisfied, then it will direct creates a impact on the tourism
industry which lead to further problems (Okonkwo and Odey, 2018).
Stakeholders Engagement: A tourism industry must take a concern in order to protect the
environment and by framing new strategies industry will be easily help to protect conflicts of
interest.
Responsibility: There should be some sense of responsibility which help to resolve the conflict
and this could be possible by promoting well communication and coordination between all.

problem will lead to facing many issues.

are restricted for drugs area.

Qatar is a rich and wealthy country which attracts many visitors because of its natural
beauties that supports flora and fauna. In Qatar, the Doha desert is also a best place which should
be visited but there are some critical issues which Qatar is facing now such a roads are not
properly maintained but on the same side it has beautiful resorts and hotels which attract number
of tourist (Ottenbacher and et.al., 2018). The long lasting traffic jam is another issue because of
having narrow roads. Sometimes, it has been analyzed that tourists did not find many visitors
destination because of having poor infrastructural facility that creates confusion in the minds of
visitors and as a result, it also creates negative impact o a real image of a country. The social and
economic issues faced by Qatar are the financial crises faced by the country and there is increase

in level of competition but the country main focus is to enhance image by creativity and
producing innovative products for a tourist.
5.2 Presenting the recommendations for the future development
The government of Qatar, they continuously try to develop best road facility in order to
attract various tourist and they mostly focus on the cleanliness in order to improve hygiene of a
particular region. It also helps in enhancing employment and also provide the foreign exchange
(Andersen, Blichfeldt and Liburd, 2018). Another suggestion of multiplier effect of tourism that
also contributed to balance of payments and with the help of better communication and
coordination between public and private sector, it will help in raising the economy related to
tourism department. On the other side, Qatar also experiences many climatic changes, as it is one
of the major contributor of greenhouse effects but it should also be stopped in order to prevent
the environment from getting polluted. Conservation of heritage and historical places will also
help to enhance the profitability of a country so that it will also help in future development of the
country. Another recommendation is regarding to well-development of roads, government should
use different strategies in order to broaden the roads and to make it presentable and creates good
image in front of the tourist.
