INTRODUCTION
Tourism management introduces to everything which is related to the travel and
hospitality sectors. It includes the management or administration of multitudes activities such as
investigating tour destination, making travel arrangement, planning the tour and providing
accommodation (Bunakov and et. al., 2015). Sustainable development introduces to the progress
that meets the requirements of the existing without compromising the capability of the future to
meet their own requirements. For this research Ta' Dmejrek is a chosen mountain which is
located in Malta. In order to attract visitors in that place different, there are various factors that
motivate visitors to travel including spend holidays leisurely, visit friends and relatives, get
health treatment and many other.

Reflection about the theme
I am happy that I got an effective chance to perform this research over an interesting
topic i.e. “To identify the impact of tourism management on sustainable tourism development”.
A study on Ta' Dmejrek. This research helps me in increasing my knowledge and understanding
about the importance of sustainable tourism development. With the help of tourism management
I am easily increase sustainability in tourism (Hall, Gossling and Scott, 2015). For sustainable
tourism development, Ta' Dmejrek is a chosen mountain which is highest point of Malta. In
order to attain research objectives, I become able to use questionnaire as it helps me by providing
accurate information about the role of tourism management in sustainable tourism development.
Background of the study
Sustainable tourism refers to an effective way of travelling and also exploring a
destination (Ta' Dmejrek) while respecting its environment, people and culture. Tourism plays
essential and significant role within economic development or improvement at any community,
national, regional and international levels by utilising different number of natural resources. In
making effective use of the surroundings and natural resources, the unfavourable effects have to

be reduced to assure better and sustainable use, as well as create adequate tourism revenue or
sales to reinvest a definite portion of funds (Lee and Hsieh, 2016). The sustainable is concept of
visiting as tourist and also trying to make positive effect on economy, environment and society.
The tourism can include primary transportation to accommodations, recreation, shopping,
entertainment etc. In this, sustainable tourism development meets requirements of the present
tourists and host regions while protecting for future. The sustainable tourism goods are operated
in the harmony with local environment, cultures and community so that these become
beneficiaries not tourism development victims.
Problem to study

development is a main issue for researcher. To conduct research over this topic appropriate time
and cost will be needed by researcher. As in absence of accurate amount of capital and time,
researcher not able to conduct this investigation in proper manner. At present, enhanced demands
for tourism make force on carrying capability (Malik and Bhat, 2015). Larger numbers of
travellers creates it more than possible that environs will be at danger and the cultural heritage
should be ruined. For example, in China they will face different challenges or issues, because
they are graded sixth world-wide in terms of tourist arrivals. This chance for major tourism
development in China creates it essential to speedily see the environmental as well as social
problems that are main part of sustainable tourism development. Along with this, careful
planning as well as assessment are essential aspects of sustainable tourism development.
Objectives of the research
The research objectives is concise, clear and declarative statement that gives direction to

two different variables. It explain what needed to be attained through project. These are mainly

all over the world in employment context and also share the gross domestic product globally.
Travel and tourism sector has been developing and also changing fast pace as there are more
people interested in spending the leisure time. (Zaman and et. al., 2016) This develops
opportunities in areas which are characterized through the natural attractions, wilderness habitats
etc. in this, local communities many be benefited in the economic terms and develop

channelled back in to the nature conservation for the local communities for managing the
protected areas. On the other hand, sustainable tourism is form of the tourism that meet with the

generations to meet with the own requirements. This is envisaged as leading to the management
of all the resources in such a manner that the social, aesthetic and economic requirements can be
fulfilled while maintaining the ecological process, cultural integrity and biological diversity. The
