Multi generational travel, also sometimes referred to as 3G travel, is defined as three
generations of family members vacation together. This means that the family, kids, parents and
grandparents travel together to have an enriching experience. These type of travels bring the
family together and they can set up family goals in front of other people. It has been analysed

had top the list. These kind of trips are more beneficial for the families which are separated
geographically. They can spend quality time together and get to know each other more making
them share a more stronger bond. It is also beneficial for tourism agency, they are recognizing

family connections is another motivator for many multi generational groups (Ferreira. and
Hunter, 2017). In this type of tourism the all three generations can explore different culture of
many countries together. Multi generational trips also support older age people to enjoy an
active lifestyle and make memories with their children and grand children.

by multi generational travellers. There has been increase in trends in these type of tourism. It
has been analysed that number of travellers in tourism are designed to be increased by 3.3% till

that includes places such as Asia, Africa and Middle East. From the travel report it has also
been indicated that by the year 2022, tourism industry will become the world largest industry.
