INTRODUCTION
The study focuses on studying the case of Toyota Company. From case study, it has been
clear that various losses have been suffered by Toyota Company. The Toyota has adopted
various strategy in order to overcome losses faced by it. The aim of research is to analyse the
effectiveness of strategy used by Toyota and whether enterprise in being successful for
recovering losses.
1. Assessing Toyota attention to organisational competitiveness in various
terms
Toyota is top leading organisation in UK automotive market. Toyota has faced the loss of
billions of dollars and has suffered operating loss. Besides this enterprise has taken various
initiative to overcome these losses and to ensure that appropriate action should be taken in order
to avoid such condition in Future. It is required by organisation to maintain healthy relationship
with other companies in order to gain support from them in such situation (Sindi and Roe, 2017)
A) Quality refers to the doing things in right way and by delivering effective and
attractive goods and services (Pradabwong, Braziotis, Tannock, and Pawar, 2017)
As per case study Toyota Company has been ranked as top leading Auto mobile organisation in
UK. It has been ranked as top company on basis of Quality of their product that has provided
sufficient amount of satisfaction to its customer. The enterprise has been operating successfully
in global environment Because of its quality of products and services. Various cars produced by
the company does not have bad impact on environment. The advanced technology is being used
by organisation for manufacturing and designing cars. This has assisted business unit in
maintaining quality of their product.
B) Another performance based objective of enterprise is speed which refers to doing things
quickly in order to prevent delay in taking order and delivering product. The strategy of Toyota
Company includes emphasizing on various operational activities in order to reduce various
problems. This is done by organisation by adopting small but effective machinery in order to
speed up their production process (Hooi,Leong and Leong, 2017)
C) The third factor include dependability-The just in time method was adopted by Toyota that
has enabled them to deliver products according to need and demand of product. This has
provided business unit an opportunity to improve its efficiency and quality. Technical experts
have been appointed in order to assist organisation in order to gain technical competencies. It has

allowed company to reduce its various cost including cost of production. By adopting Just in
time system, business entity will be able to provide dependability advantage to its client.

2. Company strategy in Recovering
The company has adopted strategy to limit the scope and varieties of products. This has
helped the firm in increasing its focus Quality of products.
Various Quality control measures has been adopted in order to improve quality of
product.
The enterprise has formulated technology related strategy according to which it has
adopted small but cost-effective machinery in order to speed up operation process and
increase its efficiency.
The dependability strategy is used by company for delivering goods to customer.
Speed up strategy was being adopted by firm in order to accelerate delivery process. This
has assisted organisation in eliminating delays in services.
The flexibly strategy has enabled organisation in developing frequent new products. It
has provided opportunity to firm to change its situation.
The business entity need to adopt various dimensions strategy in order to improve their
quality of services. This will enable firm to deliver good quality of product on time and
to cater need of customers.
The business unit is required to adopt Quality control system
The company is required to adopt strategy in order to accept and fulfill its responsibility.
This process will help in developing flexibility in them.
The Toyota can use intensive growth strategy in order to grow and expand its core
business activities.

It has been concluded that various strategy adopted by Toyota has assisted organisation
in overcoming losses. It has been recommended that Toyota Company has to execute various
other effective strategies in order to give tough competition to its competitors without
compromising with Quality of products. It has been also concluded that Toyota has potential to
improve its quality, increases its efficiency and reduce various cost.
