INTRODUCTION
Toyota motors is recognised as multinational company operating in auto mobile industry.
Organisation consists of approximately 363440 employees who has supported firm in achieving
success and fostering growth. Company has achieved fifth rank in terms of revenue.
Organisation is well known for manufacturing cars. Business entity was first to manufacture
which has produced more than approximately 10 million vehicles per year. This company has
been selected for the project as there has been drastic improvement has been recognised. It has
also been identified that company is performing well in market. But due to some legal issues has
effected the brand image of the company. The cited business venture has to face legal issues due
to the emission from cars which has negative effect on the health of people and also on
environment. This factors have great influence on the brand image as well as reputation of an
organisation. The company is required to make improvement or changes in operation or
manufacturing system. As this will help firm in eliminating legal obligations. Improvement in
operational as well as manufacturing system will help an enterprise in improving the productivity
and increasing working efficiency (Krogh, Nonaka and Rechsteiner, 2012)
Change implementation procedure
The successful implementation of change is very difficult and complex task. As there are
several errors which can occur in facilitating the change at workplace. The reason for these
barriers are employee fear regarding the effect of unknown change on their performance, lack of
knowledge or information about change can lead to high level of dissatisfaction among workers.
Lack of sufficient resources is the another factors which can have negative impact on the change
implementation procedures. Manager or leader in an enterprise required experience , specialise
knowledge, skills and core competency in order to bring drastic improvement within an
organisation. The major variables that encourage company to bring changes include social ,
technology, employees etc. In context of Toyota company, changes in legal factors that is
amendment in government norms has force an organisation to bring improvement in
manufacturing or production as well as products. This changes will support firm in reducing the
wastages of resources (Barrick and et.al., 2013)
It is required by the manager in Toyota company to create appropriate plans and
formulate suitable strategies for bringing change in a company. The change implementation
process includes various phases these are :

Before starting the procedure the manager or leader in a firm is required to identify area
of improvement. It is required by management team to collect information by conducting the
survey , research , internal as well as external audit. As this will help managers in identifying the
area of improvement. The first phase , manager or leaders in an enterprise required to create
strategic plan for the implementation of change. In this phase, the manager in an enterprise
required to identify the employees who will play important role in the procedures. After
formulating the plans, manager in Toyota company is required to communicate the same to
workers or other stakeholders about the same. As this activity will assist management team in
eliminating barriers. It will also help business entity in seeking support from employees and
implementing successful change at workplace. At the next phase of the procedures, manager is
required to involve employees in the procedure. Implementation requires an understanding of
plan costs and institutional commitment to its funding. Plans need to come with funding in place.
In next step the manager or leader in a Toyota company is required to establish benchmarks this
will help management team in comparing the actual performance with the standards. At the next
phase of the process manger is required to define the role as well as responsibility of each
workers and provide them with suitable resources to conduct activities. In this phase, The
presence of monitoring activities also sends employees a content that the plan is still in place and
remains essential. Monitoring as well as controlling the activities during the process is important
in order to ensure successful change and confirm desired outcome (Hakanen and van
Dierendonck,2013)
Conducting survey to ensure the team and management still support the activities based from
your organisation development program
360 degree surveys can be used for measuring the performance of employees during the
change procedures. This is an effective tool which helps in analysing the behaviour of workers
during the procedure. Findings from such surveys need to be included in the development plan,
which will provide recommended action plans to address the any organisational problems.

company require to identify these obstacle and need to analyse the appropriate solution for
removing barriers. As this plan or strategy will assist manager in preparation, implementation
and management of change in proper way. The broad obstruction that might occur in the change
management process are :
Need of employees involvement-This kind of obstruction might take place because employees in
an enterprise are more obsessed about the change process. As employees see that this
component may have effect on their presentation or professional growth. So the employee are
seldom active in this procedure. Organization might face these type of situation in which the hard
working employee may disagree with the change. Fearfulness of the undiagnosed, lack of
feeling to adjust into a new environment and eventually a complete obstruction to the change.
Ineffectual communication Plan-There are few organisation in which there is abdsence of open
communication system.

Cost includes several expenses such as management resource costs , training expenses,
travelling cost , time , material costs etc. All these costs are required top be included in the
budget during strategic planning.
Benefits – The main advantage of change procedures is that it helps in bringing improvement
within an organisation. Change also assist business entity in enhancing brand image and ever-
increasing sales as well as profitability. It also helps in mitigating risk.
Opportunity cost – It involves the lack of focus on customer needs during the procedures which
leads to higher level of dissatisfaction among client (AlMazrouei. and Zacca,2015)
