Purpose
The main purpose of this progress is to inform you of how far I have reached with my project on
the strategies for the implementation of electric cars by Toyota Company.
Summary
With the current advancement in technology, many car companies are introducing
electric cars into the market. However, it is not the case with Toyota Company. It has lagged
behind when it comes to the introduction of electric cars compared to the rest of the industry due
to being entrenched in fuel cell hydrogen. It has lost most of its quality time addressing the fuel
cell hydrogen issue; hence, there is a need to recommend appropriate strategies to help it in
launching the vehicles. Some of the proposed strategies include improved battery technology,
development of charging stations at different points, and designing different models of electric
vehicles.

The future work will be focused on:
Conducting extensive quantitative and experimental research on the viability of the solid-
based battery, which use a solid electrolyte, and a solid electrode instead of polymer gel
or liquid electrolyte found in lithium-ion batteries.
Also, an investigation on the reliability of the battery recharging stations and associated
effects
Finally, the work will focus on investigation where Toyota car models should be
designed as either as an electrified option or a dedicated electrified model
Conclusion
In conclusion, the current progress in relation to the project that I am conducting is
steady. However, not much has been conducted and I expect to experience some changes which I
will require consultations in the next phase of my project. From then on, I will be delving into
conducting the various experimental investigations.
