Sustainability is increasingly viewed such that as a desired goals of development and
management. Global sustainability is one the important reason that includes environment quality
and also provides the healthy communities by providing natural air, clean water and better
environment. In the same way report is also based upon the three goals such as good health and
well being which means that the company should promote well being for all age groups , Gender
equality which helps to provide equal opportunities to both men and women and responsible
consumption and production that means there is no wastage. Therefore, the report is also
analyses these three goals of United Nation and also provides recommendation as well.
The chosen firm for this report is Toyota Motors which is a Japanese multinational
automotive company and it is consider world's second largest automotive manufacturer because
of producing best variety of products at global level. Further, the company is world's market
leader in the sales of hybrid electric vehicles as well and it also follows the Corporate Social
Responsibility and develop various program that helps to prevent the environment, it is also
realised that the quoted firm also follow sustainability act as well in order to do work for the
welfare of the society and communities.
Rationale
The rationale behind the chosen issues is such that these three issues are common and
Toyota Motors also take initiatives to resolve the issues up to some extent. Another reason of
choosing these issues is such that the researcher has its own interest to search on the particular
topic because it is a global issues and while researching, the knowledge of a researcher will be
enhanced and it helps to determine some techniques to solve the issues and try to reduce the
problem up to some extent.

Goal1: Goal health and well being for people: Its main aim is to reduce the maternal
morality and its ratio is also decline by 37%. Moreover, its main goal Is to achieve the universal
health coverage that access to essential vaccines (Assembly, 2015). Therefore, its purpose is to
end the preventable death as well. This, is consider one of the most sustainable issues and in the

context of Toyota, it places the great importance on the environment and the society and the
quoted firm also seek to continue being a company that is trusted by the customers.
Goal 2: Gender equality: It is another global issue, such that gender equality is not a
fundamental human right but it is also basis for a prosperous world. It has been realized that
most of the time people are discriminated on the basis of gender and even In many places most
of the women are rejected on the basis of gender inequalities. Therefore, its main aim is to
providing women and girls with equal access to education, health care and economic decision
making process that will raising sustainable economies and also provides benefits to the societies
as well. In the context of Toyota, the firm have all types of workers and this is not discriminate
the person on the basis of gender (Bebbington and Unerman, 2018). This shows that quoted firm
have the diverse working force who help a business to accomplish the goals of a firm.
Goal 3: Responsible consumption and Production: This is another goal which includes
that the business should use eco- friendly production methods and also reduce the amount of
wast as well. It main aim is to increases the national recycling rates in coming years and even the
firm should also adopt the sustainable practices and then publishes their sustainability report as
well. In the same way, Toyota motors main aim is to grow the business by protecting the
environment by working to reduce the effects of the vehicles which are manufactured by the firm
and operations on the climate change as well as biodiversity. Apart from this, the company also
strive too develop, and establish the technologies which enable the environment as well as
economy, to build a close relationship between individuals and organization who involves in
environmental preservation (Hák, Janoušková and Moldan, 2016).
From all, these 3 goals are directly linked with global context because it varies in
different countries such that in United Nation, the rate of promoting the well being of people in
increases. On the other side, gender inequalities is another global issue because in companies,
candidates are rejected due to gender inequalities and even, in schools the education is also not
provided to girls and as a result, there is a huge discrimination is done at working place.
Moreover, the responsible consumption and production is another global issue because it creates
collective impact upon the environment and its main aim is to using the Eco-friendly methods to
protect the environment (Sims and et.al., 2019).

CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION
By summing up above report it has been concluded that there are 17 sustainable issues
which are prescribe by the United nations and for Toyota Motors, these three issues are chosen
as a global context. Apart from this, report concluded that being a brand image in market, the
quoted firm also follow sustainability act and corporate social responsibility. Even, In this global
era, the gender inequalities and responsible consumption and production are one of the common
global sustainable issues which needs to be minimizes.
Therefore, it is recommended to the firm to follow the sustainability act and then also
respect and honor the human rights of people and do not use the child labor as well. In addition
to this, it is also recommended that by enhancing corporate values, the firm also achieve the
stable and long term growth as well, so that it will help to growth for the benefits of company's
shareholders too. Furthermore, company should also promote and engage their partners for the
social activities that help to strengthen the communities which further contribute to the
enrichment of a society.
